I've been watching this show for about a year now - mostly re-runs.

During that time, I found it to be pretty funny but I always got annoyed with the Sheldon character.

But after getting to know the show, I've come to the conclusion that it is may be the funniest show I've ever seen - especially the Sheldon character (and the Amy character too).

I know Jim Parsons has won several Emmys and now I know why. He is unbelievably talented.

There are some episodes that really make me laugh out loud - big long loud laughs - like the epi where someone breaks into the apartment. Parson's acting in that episode was just unbelievable.

There is one scene in that episode where Sheldon is watching a handheld TV and he hears someone get attacked. What happens next is one of the funniest things I've ever seen on TV. Everything about it was just masterful. The writing, the acting, the directing. It was all just masterful. Truly a masterpiece - by all involved.

Anyway, I just want to say how much I love this show now - even though it took me about a year to warm up to it.

BTW, the Amy character is almost as well acted as Sheldon.

I'm very sad that I came to this show so late. I wonder what the chances are that it will run for another 5 or 6 seasons. I sure do hope that might happen.
