Yeah... it was great. I especially loved Leonard visiting Penny in the virtual world and Penny chopping him down...lol. Sheldon and Penny were great
together.

as a true gamer geek
i was shocked that they were playing an actual newish PC game on the show (Conan)...one with a mature rating at that which made me wonder how it might effect its sells and online servers though Ive never played that game myself...yet (not really my type of game + it got middle of the road reviews) also made me wonder if it was a payed product placement add for the game??? ....geek mode off...

(well that plus penny crushing a redbull can, burping out loud and continuing her "queen penelope" role in the game...) rock on! bbt! the only thing that is weird... after watching bbt lately? himym seems so lame. bbt gets it right. tight. great jokes, lots of funny the entire ep. laughs... himym is tired and old and i don't even care who the mother is anymore. but that's probably just me... |

yeah its a real game
its called Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures ....youtube it for some game videos i knew about the older games on the show..this is just the 1st "current" still full priced game with expansion packs due out and online game minutes "to sell" other then WoW that I've seen on a tv show ...+ its not like its a big blockbuster title that everyone plays like WoW and the Sims that get mentioned on other shows at times...but rarly if ever seen since they showed some actual game footage on the show that made me think possable product placement...and a sign of things to come this x-mas tv season

hey, thanks bud.
that makes penny chopping off leonard's head and the whole idea of penny engaging in "spirited questing followed by a flagon of ale" with sir howard even more funny. i've got to upgrade my computer... |

the only thing that is weird... after watching bbt lately? himym seems so lame. bbt gets it right. tight. great jokes, lots of funny the entire ep. laughs... himym is tired and old and i don't even care who the mother is anymore. I can't agree with this at all...I like BBT and even bought the DVD set, but I've never understood the hype in comparison to HIMYM. BBT is constantly hailed as this incredibly brilliant show and HIMYM gets tossed aside, but BBT just isn't nearly as strong or universal or consistent to me. It just feels like a bunch of quirky lines--there's certainly a higher joke-per-page ratio than most other sitcoms out there, but too much of it comes across as forced a lot of the time. Not that there's anything wrong with that; but I just can't get into the continuing storylines of BBT whereas HIMYM/30 Rock/The Office always suck me in and get me to speculate and obsessively discuss. But hey, different strokes make the world go 'round. That said, tonight may have been the best episode of the series so far. |

episode of Big Bang was one of their strongest yet and HIMYM was kinda lame, so that might have factored in.

With the exception of Barney on HIMYM, BBT kicks it's ass now IMO.

McWolcott wrote: completely agree - I still like HIMYM but it's becoming a little stale......maybe it was just last night's show - in my eyes it tanked. I guess I was put off by the I Hate New Jersey schtick. Even Barney's character last night was a waste - with the fist pump thing. |

Terrific episode!! Sheldon and Penny's interactions were great.
What I found impressive is that the plot didn't feel like a retread. A LOT of shows have done episodes about online gaming recently (South Park, Simpsons, and American Dad off the top of my head) but BBT took it in a different direction. Great stuff. |
