This show looked contrived & unfunny in the 12 million previews shown over the summer. Glad I skipped it.

It's from the smae writers that bring you 2 and a Half Men what do you bitches expect. It's crap. Can't imagine it surviving as long as the the
craptastic Class, but then agai depends on the deal they worked out w/ the creators. They might be obligated to see this awful show until the season finale.

Last night was so much better than the pilot. The "sarcasm" sign had my hubby and I both laughing out loud. That had to be the best 5 minutes
of sitcom comedy I've watched in a very long time.

I liked the 1st episode..but this show has no legs. Geek likes girl; geek pines over girl; girl tired of meatheads and slicksters, goes geek. Usually takes 3 seasons for that to occur. Oops. |

I liked this episode much better too. By biggest problem with this show is that the laugh track seems to think anything remotely geeky is funny. It's like
"Hey, he used big words and we didn't understand what he meant, that means we should laugh, right?"

More laughs last night than the premiere. Agreeance on the "sarcasm" sign, that was priceless. Still has a long way to go, but there is some comic
potential here.
But...in no way, shape or form is this show better than The Class. Fucked up AGAIN, SeeBS. |

Okay, I finally got around to this one on the tivo last night & laughed out loud a couple of times. Not the best sitcom out there but definitely not the
worst. I'll definitely watch again. What can I say, I love a good geek joke, & if you throw in some comic book humor I'm all over it... (she says
as she heads out to the shop to get the new issues of Runaways & Buffy...)

I didn't expect this, but I like this show. I seriously had like 3 or 4 lol moments. The Superman debate was pretty funny, moving the box up the stairs
using math and the sarcasm bit we're all funny to me.
eta: and yes, they need to tone down the laugh track a bit. |

reminds me alot of the Odd couple
but with nerds and a very lame, overused laugh track I like most of the guys on the show but so far the girl from 8 simple rules hasn't really done much for me...and could easily be replaced with a new girl each wk needs some fine tuning and it could be a pretty good show

The ads and promos were awful, so I'm suprised. The one I saw was the sarcasm sign ep -- yup, I snorted on that, too, even having been forewarned. This might go into series record. |
