Its getting better. I actually laughed out loud numerous times and didn't need the laugh track to tell me when.

Prison Break wasn't on tonight so i got a chance to catch this tonight.
It's comedy GOLD. I laughed my ass off. Is Laurie Metcalf a regular? She was great in Roseanne, but she was hysterical in her role as that guy's mom tonight. The chick next door? Oh baby....mmmmmm |

i watch this show but only because its the filler between howimetmother and prisonbreak/heroes.
not must-tune-in tv, but interesting enuff to watch. the geeky stuff is endearing and reminds me of my nerdself. |

This show is great! I think it's the only show we watch where we regularly laugh out loud. I like that the humor is pretty smart too. Of course, that
means it will be cancelled any minute now.

Still finding its way, but definitely improving. The laugh track wasn't as noticeable last night, and there were several laugh-out-loud moments.
Favorite: Sheldon mouthing "You called my MOTHER?" to Leonard. |

Is Johnny G. getting these roles for his ex-Rosanne co-stars?
The casting is very good for this show! Sheldon is perfect. I liked him as the "Maybe the flavor DOES last too long!" guy from the stride gum spots.. And J.G. is great, because he makes a plausible nerd, then when the neighbor and/or fellow geeks give him the enevitable "make-over" (and, thus, make him dating material for Barbie) he will be a plausible hunk, as well. |

Finally, figured out the template for this show...it's not "Friends". It's "Frasier".
Leonard = Frasier Nerdy instead of effete Sheldon = Niles Science Snob instead of Cultural Snob but great line delivery (Just as gay, though) Chick = Dad Grounding mechanism/ Opposites = joke generation Other Nerds = Radio Station co-workers The epi last night was much better. If Sheldon and Leonard's relatives are all this funny, it could work out.... eta: Sheldon does a great Bambi! |

I just wanted to say that Laurie Metcalf was brilliant, as usual. I wish I would have known Sara Gilbert was on last week!

I am so nervous to love this show, it reminds me a lot of The Class which was awesome and still got canceled

could not agree more curve. I've taken a "love it while it lasts" approach. Plus, having a theme by BNL endeared it to me from the word go!
This show makes me laugh. I don't know how they got through the tampon discussion scene without cracking up last night- just thinking about having that
conversation... I was dying. And then when he referenced it later in the show I was on the floor. Sheldon is not my favorite character but last night was a
showcase for him. And whomever pointed it out above, yes- comparing him to Niles is dead-on.

Yeah, it was another funny show this week. Laurie Metcalf is great! I also heard Sara Gilbert is recurring, so she will be back on some more.

I like that Laurie Metcalf is Sheldon's mom, which gives her the opportunity to guest star on more episodes should the show get picked up!

This show has really grown on me. Great cast--hope Sara Gilbert becomes a regular. And I love the way they sit around discussing completely inane subjects.
Reminds me of Seinfeld with a nerd twist.
