A show about impersonators. I sense a failure. But i'm watching it so you all should too.
It's on ABC The Simon guy was great. "Sit down you drunken tramp" The Bono impressionist looked the most accurate, didn't really sound like him though Lucy was pretty amazing too |

Gass was a Stern show regular..but at least they identified him as a professional comedian/impressionist. Unlike Last Comic Standing, who tried to slide seasoned vets as new and fresh.

I actually enjoyed that, it's good mindless fun. And that Howard Stern guy next week is uncanny, I mean it could very well be him. |

The show wasn't bad. I love Lisa Ann Miller (her "Life's Work" sitcom was very underrated). Who was the judge with the beard? I recognized him from somewhere.
Some of the impersonations were surprisingly good. Others, like Celine Dion and Simon Cowell weren't that great. The comment about giving the Jennifer Aniston and Angelina impersonators an illegal African baby cracked me up. |

I thought this show was pretty good. I was entertained by these people.
After I turned to So You Think You can Dance and was entertained there. Then I turned to Sheer Genius finale' and was entained there. The a re run of the Daily show talking to Al Gore. Was entertained there.. Now I'm here....some one do an impression, dance, fix hair, or talk about global warming. I want & need to be entertained!!! |

Those crappy Celine and Martha Stewart impressions served as a great reminder of how underrated Ana Gasteyer was as a comedienne. Where is she now?

I thought this show was a lot of fun. It definitely exceeded my expectations. I will at least enjoy watching through the auditions. I hope they handle it well after that.

Someone I know won a local look-alike competition (he looks like Dog the Bounty Hunter), and part of the prize was being sent to audition for this show. He said the people were extremely rude to him and others auditioning for the show.
This is a truly crappy show. |

I must say I preferred this show to watching auditions for SYTYCD. Several of these impersonators were on Chelsea Handler when she would have the Dinner With Celebs segments.
I always thought it would be funny if Howard Stern tried to be a Joey Ramone impersonator. |
