This is very well done. I'm getting used to the actors now that they've been growing in their roles.
Tin girl at times really does look robotic. I like the kid playing John. One of the reasons i hated T2 was i couldn't stand that punk ass kid in it. I'm not digging Sarah just yet, but she's playing the role perfectly. Dean Winters is always awesome no matter what he does. Rescue Me did themselves a disservice when he got written out of it. |

Only 2. You can probably find them online easy enough.

There was something that most of you (perhaps all of you) didn't notice tonight during Prison Break and Chronicles ... the actor who played the prison
general who was killed in PB (Castulo Guerra) was also the original Enrique from T2: Judgement Day.
For some reason FOX decided to go with another actor to play Enrique instead of Castulo Guerra, even though he's on the same network payroll. Too bad -
it would've made a great connection to the feature film on the small screen.

CoconutPhone wrote: Thanks CoPho! So, I am a little torn. I really enjoy some parts, think other parts are completely idiotic, and then have problems with some of the characters doing stupid shit. Like, John Connor would know better than to go onto a computer and search for his own name, thats plain ol' dumb. Funny, when he bailed out of the computer store I noticed the # on the door was 1337 And then going back to his old house? wtf? dumb fuck much? I had to laugh when Summer said that this John isn't the same as future John.....you got that right! Anyway, definitely worth giving it some more time |

Never watched 30 rock but he played Dennis Leary's brother on Rescue Me. Most people know him from OZ.

blerg!
ok, i am far removed from being a teenager, so i don't get the "john" angst or attitude. his shit is starting to bug me. john has to hold up in an apartment for three whole fucking days... three whole (24 hrs.) days! omg! when every one one on this planet wants to arrest you, and the rest of those (others from the future) want to kill you? too much for john? this is my future? john: too much. i can't take it. i gots to go to the mall. die you smarmy little shit. and! then every time your moms saves you from that sure death, you give her attitude? again... fuck you, john. die. fuck the future of the human race. if you are our future we all deserve to die. at least you do... and. why the fuck is sarah visiting a clinic for some blood work at the end of the ep? yeah, yeah, yeah you died from cancer a few years ago. you gots the cancer or you don't. what does it matter? are you going to check in for some expensive chemotherapy to save your ass at this point? what does it matter? i thought you were on the run and shit. this show makes no sense...

Albert, I may be really old, but I still get the angst. I was horrible when my parents tried to keep me inside for longer than 24 hours. (btw, I love your
avi, the attitude is like my cat Fisk, who is a really bad kitty).

Check out Summer Glau in her breakout role on Firefly and the feature film Serenity. She really gets to kick some butt especially in the movie.

perfect casting with summer.
she has this unreal quality about her appearance. pretty, but somehow unworldly. a china doll with a kick of spice. she does not look like any female i've ever seen before. odd to me yet, i like huh... |

God can you imagine having to pick between Claire fighting with her father on the run to go to school or John fighting with her mother on the run to go to
school. Thank god they moved that back.
Anyways the first two episodes where very good, it doesn't get the Bionic dip where it just gets worse and worse |

The head bounced into the time bubble and traveled with them. It would have had to be wrapped in flesh, or there's some other explanation, or they goofed,
but you clearly see it bouncing towards the camera when the terminator explodes. The body, though, lies in the rubble of the bank for 8 years, and is called
back to life by the head.

I was surprised to see Sonya Walger playing Dixon's wife. I hope we get to see more of her throughout the season.

If you aren't watching this, you should be.
Stop the idiotic over-analyzing and just relax and enjoy something for once in your life. Prison Break is twenty times more ludicrous and unbelievable than this show but it's still FUN. Ignore StarJumper entirely. You know he's got the worst taste in the entire world when it comes to entertainment. He actually has admitted to enjoying CHUCK, of all things. Mark my words: this is going to be the break-out hit of the winter season. It will run for at least three years, guaranteed. The story has unlimited potential. Everyone is going to be raving about it as it gains steam in the weeks ahead. Remember, I accurately predicted the success of 30 Rock after viewing just the pilot episode. And I knew Bionic Woman would tank long before it ever aired (but that's no magic feat -- everyone knew that). This show has action, fantasy, sci-fi, horror... just let's hope they try to tone down inserting too much romantic bullshit into what should be a slug-fest. This is the best sci-fi show to hit TV since Galactica, but with an entirely different tenor, not so dark and with the philosophic angst dialed down to appropriate levels. It's great to see Summer Glau back. She was enjoyable on Firefly and it is easy to see why she was cast in this role: I am not sure if her face is capable of movement or expression at all, but I still like her. (Truthfully, it's gotta be tough to keep a straight face during an action sequence -- blank stares while running and fighting aren't as easy to manage as they appear.) Just watch it. |
