Oh, Dollhouse is a fine show and I'm glad it got it's second chance. I think Whedon will find his voice there in season 2.
But you're right. Terminator quietly turned into one of the best shows on the air. I remember watching it intitially just to watch, found it to be a chore, and little by little, it became awesome. Almost on BSG levels of quality. It'd be a real shame to lose that momentum now. |

Yikes, Josh Friedman doesn't even seem as upset/crazy as that blogger.
Read his post mortem here: http://www.fox.com/blogs/terminator/2009/05/18/one-last-thing-from-josh-friedman/ |

Dollhouse = cheap
Terminator = expensive That's all it came down to in the end. Dollhouse and Chuck both had to take big budget cuts to stay on the air for another season. |

Why would anybody boycott any network?
The last season's outrages usually mean something fun in the works. Bank on creativity. I for one was seriously pissed when Smith evaporated. I can't recall to this day which net iced that awesome show. Still: Hey "SyFy"! Come with us if you want to live. |

Normally I don't hold it against other shows when one dies but another lives but between this travesty and my growing irritation with it and
non-derstanding of it's appeal I doubt I'll be back for Dollhouse S2.

I'm still rooting for the Three's Company remake with Cameron, Shirley Manson and John Henry.
Wacky robot misadventures for all! |

I'm kind of upset this is gone, but Fox tried... at first. It got the post-Superbowl launch, right? Can't ask for a better premiere than that.
Unfortunately, it was heavy on the brain and light on the bangs which is not what the franchise implied. I still think it would make an AMAZING companion piece
to the similarly themed and toned Caprica.

Eh, I mean, they say they tried, and they did give it a good spot at the beginning, but why this wasn't ALWAYS just paired up with 24 is beyond me.
Didn't they give that slot to Prison Break which was a dying show? They should have shipped that off to Friday and try to build Terminator's audience,
since it was a new show.
They really didn't promote the show enough though, IMO. I don't know if its the actor or network's job to secure stuff like this, but Terminator had a walking talking advertisement in their hot cast. Why weren't they on talk shows, magazines, etc? |

Cleaning out some old videos, I ran across Taryn Southern's "Hott 4 Hill" video. Little Savannah's in it.

That post is useless without pics.
(Anybody have any updates on SyFy's plans?) |

On a side note, Terminator: Salvation is expected to rake in $70 million at the box office this weekend. At least the franchise will live on in movies. |
