Marie Osmond - good choice, but she will be out early.
Jenny Garth - good choice, but she will be out early. Scary Spice - atleast recognizeable. I could see her doing well - I think the Spice girls danced a bit. Helio - ummm. who? Pretty Boy - ummmm. who? Cameron Mathison (the secret surprise) - ummmm ok. sure. I guess they need "a hunk" Jayne Seymour - good choice, but she will be out early. Albert Reed (model) ummmm who? Sabrina Bryan - ummm. are they trying to appeal to teens and younger? Mark Cuban - I guess some people know him...but who wants to see the owner of a basketball team dancing? Josie Maran (another model) - ummmm who? Wayne Newton - Probably the best casting choice - easily recognizeable. Get the sympathy vote from fans, but I don't see his skills being all that great. Its kinda sad that the best casting choices are people over 40 - Jayne, Wayne, Marie - and I think Jenny and Scary are getting up there. NOT IMPRESSED...will you watch? What happened to Lance? I'd really like to meet the casting directors. Could they really not get better choices? I bet I could. Yea, that's right. I said it. Best past cast choices based on celebrity status (most people would know them): Joey Fatone Apollo Anton Ono John Ratzenberger Tia Carrere Joey McIntyre Drew Lachey Lisa Rinna Lisa Gibbons Billy Ray Cyrus George Hamilton ETC football to basketball...cus I don't know my sports teams ... haha.

I love the Spice Girls, but it's not fair that Mel B is on - she has many years of dance training and obviously did a lot of dancing with the SG. And how
the hell is she going to prepare for their world tour whe she's off doing this nonsense? BTW Baby Spice was on the UK version of this show and placed
third. (that's weird, as I'm typing this they start talking about Mel on a rerun of "the View"...)
Josie Maran is gorgeous but she might suffer the fate of the other pretty faces and fall by the wayside since women might not be inclined to vote to keep her. Is Anna Trebunskaya or hatever the one who was with Jerry Rice? She was awesome! |

I don't know half these people either. I only know Jane Seymor, Scary Spice, Jenny Garth, Marie Osmond, and Wayne Newton. I think the producers thought they were at a point where they could bring anyone on the show and sell it on the strength of the show itself, and not the celebrities appearing on it. Which is sad, because they had better celebrities on all of its previous seasons. |

ABC suspected someone would leak the list, and some of the names on the leaked list are not accurate. 
They take this fucking show so seriously. It's a cheesefest! Their pretentiousness is truly unwarranted. Maybe they feel it's something their core audience appreciates? |

That's an interesting cast. This might be the first time a female celebrity will win with Scary, Osmond, Jenny Garth and Cheetah Girl. Although I don't
it's fair that Scary and Cheetah had a lot of dance training, but that didn't stop Drew and Joey Fatty.
