Meh it was OK. Nothing mind blowing. Tripp being the dock worker was nice and I'm glad he actually lived.

That was the fastest hour on TV..
I have a few questions? when did Jack change out of his hot little Hugo Boss suit? Did Tony bring them? How is it possible for Blackwater/Smackwater or whatever they are to get a helicopter, airlift all that shit out of there? Nevermind its 24, I get it. And does anyone know how I can find some hot terrorists to force into sex slavery? Jesus hot and dangerous just what I like in a man. |

Olivia is obviously Ethan's lovechild with the president. Blech.

Thank god for her neck shot. We got her out of that sensible Ann Taylor pants suit and got her in to a nice tight top and some jeans.
Fucking KILLER body. Love her. |

Absolutely. That photo and the arm touch said it all. He was boning the Pres-o-dent. More will come out on that.
Olivia is interesting - I want to bone her and at the same time, knuckle punch her in the forehead. |

Something tells me she would not only like that, but would probably call you a p*ssy for not hitting her hard enough while you were doing it. |

The show is good this season but thrown in there are a lot of "wtf?? that wouldn't happen" moments.
Starkguard (or whatever they are called) are like a military for hire so it would make sense (at least to me) that they would have helicopters and shit at their disposal. Jack was a fucking dumbass during the helicopter heist. That was one of my "wtf?? that wouldnt happen" moments. |

You're right... In the beginning I probably just didn't see it as much. I guess there only so many ways to write terrorist attacks.

I wonder why I still watch. I guess I can say I do enjoy it. It isn't bad TV per say. The production value is good and the stories are entertaining. But
the excitement of the whole concept is kind of done for me.
They also have to, now, make it SO overly complicated. I think it kind of jumped the shark when they set off the nuclear bomb in the desert a few seasons ago. How do you top that really? Another bad sign for this program is that they have pretty much run out of terrorist disaster scenarios and have started repeating them. This year they can check off blowing up part of the Whitehouse. It actually makes me wonder if they would have eventually used the twin towers if they were still standing. but I'll keep watching, because I am an idiot. gladly. P.S. and you didn't notice it because the stories were somewhat believable at first. All of season one was centered around protecting David Palmer. It was so simple which made you not notice the fact they could get anywhere in L.A. during a commercial break. A mole at CTU was believable back then.... but every year? It's pretty ridiculous when I think about it. Which I am going to stop right now or I may realize I am wasting a LOT of time.

Season One also had multiple story lines going on for us to be intereseted in, even though they all wound up being somewhat inter-related: the impending
attack on David Palmer, the uncovering of a mole in CTU, Jack's daughter and wife being kidnapped, and the cover-up of President Palmer's son's
murder involving Sherry.
This season there's really just one story line happening which makes the a little less interesting. If this season wasn't taking place in Washington DC, which makes it somewhat fresher, it might not be considered that much better than Day 6. Being off the air for a year helped. The editing and pace still make this show better than most. |

I would have bet every penny in the world that the port authority security guard was a dead man. Nice to see that Jack saved him.
How the heck can Jack not kill 9 peeps with an M4 w/silencer and scope, but in season 6 he kills 10 Abu Fayed terrorists with a glock? F it, its 24. |

Last night's show was kind of dull I found. Maybe I've just grown to expect too much from Jack.
He points out that the odds were 10-2 at the port. I was thinking, "yeah, not fair for the bad guys to be so badly outnumbered". |

I miss the extensive side-plots. Please bring them back! And not those shitty, unresolved side-plots that was season 6. (Nadia and that other guy falling in
love, he gets killed one ep later and she's now no where to be found? How about some closure on what happened to Logan??)

TV MA LSV wrote: At least fans of 24 have a great sense of humour. Since this is my first season watching I'm not as jaded about the scenarios - yet - but as the hours count down I'm distracted from the plot because I kept wondering why Jack never gets hungry, thirsty or needs to take a piss. The other problem is knowing that no matter what the situation, he's going to walk away from it. Yup, figured that one out after a couple episodes. |
