I liked the cop. Yes, he started out an ass as anyone who doesn't endorse non-scientific methods might behave, especially a been there, seen it all cop. But then when he became a fan, he became completely trusting of her instincts. What I was disappointed with in the Texas episode that all her efforts to win trust were for naught, it wasn't in her home town. Now they've set up a premise where the cop's family member was avenged, thanks to her efforts. He is grateful, and believes in her. And he'll most likely be around in future episodes to rely on her again. The fact that he was so obnoxious in the beginning only shows what a 180 he did, and how much of an ally he'll be in the future. They needed more than a D.A. prosecuting past crimes. They needed a cop to turn to her for current crimes that she could actually prevent.

I'm liking her husband a bit more. He's not quite the naysayer he was early on, though I think he'd prefer the old wife back. She isn't there much for her children, especially after school and so on. She's lucky he is so flexible in his job that he can cover. Little kids have many needs, and when she becomes so obsessed with her case, she seems to neglect everything else, including her children. I suppose they'll eventually have her come to terms with balancing her gifts/work/family life in the future.

I never understood the woman who visited her in the dream. She seemed freaky, like a demon encouraging the killings. I thought she may have possessed the actual killer, but then she tried to help by notifying the medium in her dreams. Odd. I'd like to see more ghosts talking to the medium, like the cop's sister for instance. That would have been cool to see.
