I didn't like the last episode, it was very predictable. The husband having a sleep deprivation issue gave him another story other than showing him in his
underwear, I really think he should apply for Guinness record for the most underwear appearances for a television actor.

Seriously? I didn't read this thread until now because I wasn't able to see the ep right away, but I fucking loved it. Had a little bit of everyone
in it and although I knew within two seconds that girl was being played I enjoyed the path that led to catching him.
Oh and yeah the paint thing was RETARDED. I found myself saying "Oh he must have gone down in pitch black dark. Yep that's what happened." lolololololololol in order to justify exactly what I knew her next dream was going to be blah blah blah. Still worship this show. |

I am a day ahead of most of you 'mericans, so I won't spoil it but this is an interesting episode.
For a few reasons. Joe, Allison, and Agent Cooper being the primary ones. |

Wow. That was a great one. Loved loved loved the very end scene. So glad to see Cooper back. He's devilishly delicious. I'm really enjoying the
daughter coming into her own as well.

The last three minutes of the show were very hard for me to watch. The look on that poor kids face at the end were heartbreaking.
Agent Cooper is the devil. So glad the new hire was dumped. He's an ass. And a thief. I loved how he couldn't decipher the plans. |

That ending was intense. And so sad - I didn't see it coming, not at all. (But I did lol earlier when the boy said to Allison, "what are you doing in my house?") I also love how Ariel is helping Joe not just accept but embrace his family's special abilities. Is this the first time Joe actually acted on any of the dreams he's been told about? How ironic that telling his boss why he was suspicious of the new co-worker actually made Joe seem more credible, not less! |

Was that a fabulous episode or what??
Cooper is one of the most complex characters I've seen on television with his reasoning behind the things he does but the absolute evil involving it. I am really enjoying Joe's storyline also - a lot of the time, he gets put in the background and I adore his character and that low key but very intense way he has. I agree Licorice, I like how Ariel was involved with Joe's storyline and how her abilities are being shaped more in the show but they haven't been overdoing it. I don't remember if Joe ever acted on any dreams or not (I'm pretty sure not Ariel anyway) maybe Allison though :shrug. I love how what I think is supposed to happen and what I think will happen is close but never exact; the writers always throw something in there that I didn't count on. |

I think Joe acted on a couple of things Bridgette said (remember the phone call to India and the mole on the teacher). But I like it when Joe has his own
little storyline, because he is so much more complex than what his character his given.
I kind of new the kid was going to kill himself, especially after Allison insinuated that the crimes may not even happen. There's a sort of free will theme that was going on in her speech. But the ending whee Cooper and the bloody kid were in the house was kind of creepy. So any guesses on what new ability Allison might be? |

I still got love for Medium. Last night's show was just another fabulous installment. Sometimes it is way predictable. What bothers me the most is how much
she has helped the DA's office and that cop dude and yet every time she brings something to them that she hasn't pinned down the exact details (ie
name, address, location of bodies) - she has to defend herself to them again. Why don't they just believe what the fuck she says? She's pretty much
always right. At least help her figure out the details instead of just refusing to believe she knows what the fuck she is talking about. Its aggravating!
I like that the kids are getting involved. As long as they don't make it weird - it should fit in nicely. JMO. |

Great episode. I loved the angel-on-my-shoulder vs. devil-on-my-shoulder effect of Allison/Cooper debating with the kid before he shot himself. A real
struggle for his soul. That whole subversion of "do the math" was really well-written, too.
Cooper is one of my favorites for sure--what a great idea for a semi-regular character and foil for Allison. This was the first episode I've watched since Medium returned and it was because of him. The ending was especially effective: Allison breaking down in Joe's arms, no explanation necessary, and the pullout to reveal the ultra-creeepy images of the kid and Cooper. Best of all was the look of exasperation on Kurtwood Smith's face as they faded to black. Terrific actor. |

I hope no one's thinking that just because some of us bashed the survivalist/paint can ep and the successive Ali gets possessed eps that I or others am
souring on Medium
Not so: I remain fully in love with this series and last night was why everyone should be. There I was, trying to remember after the long offseason what Agent Cooper had done to get Ali mad, and then -- wham -- oh that's right, he's proactive on taking out the bad guys. Great stuff -- agreeance with the above. I love how Ali refused to believe that he'd gone good guy and was more exasperated than anything that he hadn't. Until things took a turn for te darkside. I also love how Kurtwood Smith, one of the best character actors in the business, can pull off that transition from persuasive authority figure to monster so seamlessly. The guy is due for a guest star Emmy, if not for this, then one of his countless other spots. What was intriguing to me though was this "Clay" who was yelling at Ariel in her dreams about the engineering geek stuff. So, what, Joe's now got a silent (as in dead silent) partner who will be helping his business by passing tips to Ariel? This could get really interesting. |

What a great episode! It was all I could do to not LOL every time that buzzer went. Loved Bridget and the milk. "I'm not lying." I did know that the second couple was involved so it was interesting to see what really happened. I knew too, that the guy was lying about the paper (or rather that it had been altered) but again, it was fun to watch Joe figure it out. I was entertained by the episode and that's what it's all about, yes? |

I was laughing my ass off at Joe trying to get away with telling her that he; didn't mind listening to her, she could wake him anytime to talk, and that he completely believed her when she said she was hearing the buzzer. Classic. |

I liked this episode, and even liked Alison's new ability, but I'm a little worried: She's becoming almost too all-knowing, making all the other characters seem like inferior beings who exist only to carry out Alison's orders. They need to ratchet down Alison's powers a little to make her human again. |

And yet again, the DA and Scanlon doubt her abilities. Holy hell. Will they never learn?

It's not like they can arrest or interrogate people solely based on a dream. I love the whole buzzer thing. it was funny. I was actually laughing in some of the scenes. Okay all the scenes that were about her family. Something has just occurred to me: if the black woman was on an episode of one of those truth shows, then why didn't Allison bring that up when they were interviewing her. I was waiting for that to happen and it didn't. I was exping some one to ask her "where you on this show? Where were you when you were watching the episode when it aired? Did you remember the questions being asked?" you know that kind of stuff.

I don't think the black woman was actually on the game show. I think that scene was Allison's psychic ability letting her know that for this
particular case, lies will be followed by a buzz (as on the game show). And I don't think the buzzer is something Allison's going to hear every time
she hears a lie. IT's like that one episode where Allison kept hearing a song from the dead girl's iPod and it would come on/off in her head until she
found the body.
As for Scanlon and Davalos, they obviously need evidence and facts to back up Allison's visions, but a lack of evidence does not explain the ongoing snark/skepticism (particularly from Scanlon) when Allison starts to share what she's seen. Davalos's initial response is usually more measured, but Scanlon is always a snarky, disbelieving ass. |

no chit! yes-they need real/concrete evidence....and yes-sometimes her dreams are not exact......but when HASN'T her assistance been key? *that buzzer noise was annoying as all hell...I'd be screaming angry if I had to hear that with every liar I come across |
