I'll try to answer your questions to the best of my knowledge, I saw every episode post-season 1.

Well, I wouldn't expect much more from a power that freezes time, or "molecules" as it's supposed to be. Her power now has evolved and she can "blow-up" the molecules.

Well it was already known before (before Shannen left) that the witches' mom had an affair with her white-lighter (her own Leo...), and we found out, after Prue died, that she had a girl from that affair, Paige.

I don't really have an answer to that question. If I remember well, they mentionned in an episode that the book was continuously updated by the elders, so there's technically always new things in it. Might be false, though...

I dunno, but actually Holly Marie Combs is the highest paid actress on that show. I guess that after Shannen Doherty, Alyssa Milano is the more "known" of the actors on the show.

They were very close to their grandma when they were young, since she was the one who raised them (their mom died when they were young), so they had much more conversations with her before she died. I actually don't remember if the grandma died on the show, if she did, then you're right.

Then I guess it's just a plot error in the show... I missed that episode (or can't remember it) so it's probably from season 1, is it?

(An episode that comes to mind is in season 5 where Phoebe is on a date at P3 and piper freezes everyone but her date doesn't freeze which makes her realize he's a demon.) I think it's that the upper-level demons don't freeze with her powers, as opposed to the demons they were fighting at first. It all depends on the type of demon and everything. Might be another inconcistency too...
