Shannen also had a different creative vision for the show. If you notice, when Prue was there, the show was a lot darker and more adult oriented. After she was killed off, the show started to get a lot more whacky with magical creatures, etc. It was written more towards a younger audience.

You can watch it at least 4 times a day on TNT. I've always loved this show and I was disappointed when Shannen left as well. But I soon came to lurve Paige's character and she was on the show for 5 seasons and Prue was only on for 3. I still love the Cole/Phoebe storyline best. Julian McMahan is HOT! But I also liked the Chris storyline and thought he was a pretty good actor.

Count me in as one that would have rather seen Alyssa Milano leave than Shannen. Prue was a much more interesting character and Phoebe's main function on the show is to run around half naked, talking baby talk and ensuring every man falls obsessively in love with her.
I like Rose McGowan a lot and I think she did a good job of making Paige work. Overall, Piper and Leo were the heart and soul of the show. I miss it, but not the last season. At all. |

I just started watching this about a month ago, as I <3 Julian McMahon and wanted to watch his lusciousness...but I started at Season 1. I'm at Season 4 now, I don't know - I'm mixed about Prue leaving - I did like her powers better, but she always seemed to have the same "face." Alyssa and Julian together had great chemistry, and I love Piper and Leo..they're just so adorable!

Whitelighter sighting!
I guess I forgot to mention this, but the other day at work, I met Leo! Well...I mean, Brian Krause. He was at a show, didn't recognize him at first, but when asked to see his ID (so he could make a purchase with his credit card) I looked at the photo and thought to myself...hey, that looks alot like Leo! Then I look at the name on license, look at the cc, look up at him, and said "Leo?". And, um...he smiled and said "yeah." He has the greatest smile! When I saw that cute smile of his, I immediately recognized him! He looks alot smaller in person...shorter and thinner. He always looked somewhat buff or at least muscular on the show. Maybe thats cuz he was always standing next a cast of stick sized women? Anyway, just thought I'd share...:) |

Yes, I would like to know how/who/when they are bringing this series back. Prue was dead, dead, dead, how can they bring her back? And with the way they wrapped the show up - showing everyone married with kids then Prue/Leo at like 60-70, not sure what they are going to do with it. Unless they pick up with the next generation i.e. Chris and Wyatt- That would be cool!

Chris and Wyatt would be a cool thing to see, but without the three sisters (Paige, Phoebe, and Piper). They could bring back Prue/Shannon as their spirit aunt, much the same way they brought in their dead mother and grandmother.

so after watching 5 million reruns on TNT I finally saw the series finale....in true Charmed form..kind of cheesy. I would LOVE to see a Wyatt/Chris spin off.
The "Pru" episodes are playing right now...not a huge Shannon fan and I think that show was SO cheesy in the beginning. Haven't been watching it them as much. I mostly tune in for the last seasons, since I missed them |

The first couple Rose/Paige years were close to, but not quite on par with the best of the Shannon/Prue years. Those were the golden era of Charmed.

I wished they kept Prue and got rid of that whore Phoebe. The writers keep making Phoebe a slut and it gets annoying. And the Cole/Phoebe love/hate
relationship was way too long.
