Posts: 5759 (01/28/04 10:19 AM) Registered user Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	I didn't start watching this show regularly until much later so I have missed a lot of "storylines" Last night, I believe I have watched one of the last episodes of Shannen - when their witch powers have been revealed, Piper was shot and Phoebe was still underground with Balthazar. With a help of a demon, they were able to reverse time a bit but was eventually attacked by another demon. Is this actually the cliffhanger of Pru's death? And why is it that Pru cannot come back as a ghost or spirit after she died? What was the excuse they used so they dont have to show Shannen's face?

She had to have time to "move on" and accept the fact that she was dead. Also, it was the same demond that attacked the first time, it was just that this time things happened a bit differently. Keep watching TNT and you will eventually catch all of the shows.

In the Charmed Universe she could become a whitelighter or something....

The explanation I've read is that her contract is written such that if they show even her image, they have to pay her full salary for appearing in the episode. They've been supposedly negotiating this cost with her which seems to be the basis for the "Shannen is returning this season" rumours. I've also seen an insider of the show post that Shannon also has some sort of copyright on the character of Prue (only as it relates to the TV show), so they can't replace her with any other actor or actress (many ask why she can't be reincarnated as someone else). The most they can do is like in Cat House last season, they hired another actress to be Prue, but in a non-speaking role and shot solely from behind.

I just watched the last episode and the spoiler rumors were indeed true about Chris. It will be awesome to see Prue again. Hope they all negotiate and come up with something agreeable.

My sister and i found it when we were watching thhe summer reruns, right after the episode where Prue got killed without being explained poperly. Apparently death came to take an innocent, and Prue had to learn that it was ok to let go and lose an innocent every nce in a while. I thinnk this is the one where it explains why Prue died and not Piper (b/c they did have to justify why she wasn't there after Shannon had quit). B/c she learned to accept death as an inevitable.

Posts: 16354 (02/11/04 8:11 PM) Registered user Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	Some of the romors I've heard: -Shannen Doherty did some interview in Canada that said she might be agreeable to one last appearance on Charmed to give closure to her fans that followed her on the show. - People speculated that if we see Shannen on the last episode it's because Piper dies and goes to the afterworld and Prue tells her that it's not her time. (This would also not get Shannen and Alyssa in the same scene which is good for them) Also notice that Finola Hughes (Patty) hasn't been seen in awhile. She apparently doesn't want anymore guest spots on the show either.

The episode where Prue is fighting Death is called [i]Death Takes a Halliwell[/i] and was the 16th episode of season 3 where as [i]All Hell Breaks Loose[/i] (the episode where Prue dies and which was the season 3 cliffhanger) was the 22nd episode of the season. Prue's fight against death in that episode was trying to understand why her mother was taken so young. The only episode that could be considered "lost" would be the unaired pilot which cast Lori Romm (sp?) as Phoebe. All of her scenes were reshot with Alyssa Milano and it was aired as the first episode [i]Something Wicca This Way Comes[/i].

It no longer became a matter of saving the innocent of the day. It became about meeting mythical creatures and stuff. The human element of the show got lost. We got the Phoebe-Cole plot which dragged waaaaaaay too long and Look how many innocents the Charmed Ones saved in Seasons 1 and 2. Back then, we didn't have Piper's blow stuff up power and the Charmed Ones actually had to use their brains to stop demons. Now look at how few innocents they save--any demon they can't stop with their powers, it's a simple matter of making a potion and or using the Power of 3. There isn't much human element of the show other than their love lives, and you no longer have the intrigue of them wondering how they are going to stop the demon. (Since nowadays they are just way too powerful)

He hasn't been born yet. Wyatt is still there, except now the Charmed ones know that he is destined to become evil and Chris was sent from the future to find out who turned Wyatt Evil. The person who ends up turning Wyatt evil in the future, is Gideon, the headmaster of Magic School (Everyone in the Charmed World with a British Accent is Evil). The Charmed People don't know that yet.

Apparently, Chris has a lot of anger toward Leo because Leo wasn't there for him and Wyatt in the future, and he possibly blames him for letting Wyatt go to the dark side.
