They mention Donald Trump, had confessionals, and mention something about humans foaming at the mouth to humiliate themselves on tv. I regret missing the first half of survivor, but this show is hilarious 2. My thoughts on the finale Give Phoebe an active power now!!! I love the hot, evil twins. Especially Paige and Chris when they fire those crossbows. Elders are useless jerks. OMG, Leo killed Gideon!! Next season, I think those elders are demote him or something. A great evil restores the balance.

Posts: 1217 (05/17/04 12:20 PM) Registered User Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	I'm wondering if Gideon was trying to kill Wyatt to save the future - thinking that Chris wouldn't be able to save him....Just something about the way he was talling Leo that it was for the best and he had no idea of what Gideon was doing.... I could be totally wrong though!! I wonder if they will tell Piper that Chris died or just tell her that he went back to his time. I got a bit misty when they were saying goodbye to Chris before he and Leo went into the "evil" world. I really didn't like Chris at the begining of the seaon, but after it was revealed he was Piper's son, he grew on me. I missed a lot of the season though - b/c a lot of the season seemed to suck.

Premonition - The ultimate plot device power. There were a few episodes around it, and it was a useful power. However, they could never show her mastering this power otherwise, she'd solve the problem in 20 minutes. (However, I thought the point was she was supposed to try to force premonitions--and then it is considers an abuse when she tries to force it?) Levitation - Useless and unrelated to her skill power set. She was already useless in in fights, why not give her another useless power? Empathy - I liked the idea of empathy at first. It made her have something useful, while made it a reasonable growth of her premonition power. However, it went downhill when she got the channeling power. It made no logical sense that she could channel any power from someone nearby just because she had empathy. And it was kind of overpowered. So I hope they end up giving her something just brand new next season. Piper should still be the powerful one, but she should move into the "control" position. A power that is good for immobilization or something like that.

It seems the most logical progression of her abilities, and it could have become an 'active' power if she learned to control people's/demons' minds. Of course, if Phoebe could read minds, then the whole Cole storyline would have been impossible. But I digress. If they wanted, Phoebe's powers could even develop into telekinesis (which would come in handy now that Prue is gone). I thought they were leaning that way when Phoebe started levitating, but no.

It was pure ass, complete with hole(s). --weak plot--which one? I think I found the beginnings of 3 plots, but not a sliver of development in any one of them. --Leo doesn't want to hold baby Chris? BuLlsHit. He held him at the hospital, right after he was born. DUH! So Leo is troubled. WAAHHH! --What was the purpose of giving Piper & Leo the Hindu god injection? There was none. So Piper throws lighting. BFD. She coulda taken out all the baddies without that with the normal flinging of her hands. --Introducing Nick. How contrived was that. Does everyone interviewing for a job stand 6 inches or less from their new boss, just so she can trip over him, and he can catch her? PUH-LEEZE. --The cop on a mission to figure out the girls. Haven't we seen this before? Like every season? --The cardboard cutout used to stand in for Holly Marie Combs. Yes I know she just had a baby, it was terribly obvious. Did they shoot this eppy 2 weeks after she gave birth? She was wearing maternity pjs in one scene. But holy cow woman, move now and again to let us know you're breathing. I hate this show.

I was in Europe and "Charmed" is a huge hit over there, and is subtitled, so it was one of the few shows I could listen to and understand. Paige is a stunner, that's for sure. But does anyone get a headache listening to the dialogue? Man, I sure did! Like watching MTV too long. Drive's you nuts.

(Julian McMahon being the one exception) I will say that I liked this last episode just because it was awesome to see Patty again.

If not, she needs to get back in shape if she wants to wear the kind of slutty outfits the other 2 wear. It was really depressing to see Charisma Carpenter on this show. After being on the far surperior Buffy and Angel, she is now reduced to saying a few lines and then allowing Leo to choke her not once, but twice in one episode. Really sad!

It takes 9 months to put the weight on, and can take just as long to take it off unless you want to spend most of your day with a personal trainer. I prefer to see females on TV portrayed realistically. So she cant wear "slut" clothes, she never really was one to dress like that anyway.
