So now we know Livia was jumping before she met Dan but stopped after she met him and jumped just before her plane crashed. And now she knows about Katie and
Katie knows about her. I like how the show doesn't drag anything out. It this keeps up we might be getting answers sooner rather than later.

I was trying to think of ways he could make money out of this since he's going to lose his job soon. Sadly, most of my ideas were stolen from Back to the Future II. 1. Bet on sports games. Carry a PDA with sports scores. 2. Buy baseball cards and shit in the past and sell them in the present. 3. Relay messages to deceased relatives 4. Buy a lot of stock in Google or whatever. Of course, he doesn't know what time frame he's going to wind up in, but he could keep a list. |

i wish the pilot had grabbed me more. then i wouldn't be so lost about livia. grrrrrrrrrrrrr. i'm liking the show. what if the real reason for him
jumping is to fix livia's death but that would mean he won't be with katie in the future.

I'm wondering where Livia goes between their meetings.

I'm wondering why Katie can't be the dead one and Livia be his wife instead. Katie is a bitch and I don't like her. I am really trying to stay with
this show but I don't see a potential for stories out of this one. The only time frame he goes back to is 70s and on. Livia doesn't seem to want to
tell him anything. How he can keep a job is beyond me. And how come the brother hasn't put two and two together yet with the $20? Crap, I think I am
already losing interest.

The ratings keep dropping and dropping. Looks like they might cancel soon. Too bad, this is one of the few NBC shows I can actually stomach.

I watched this week for the first time. How is it that nobody notices him disappearing a few times a day from his desk? Why was the lawyer's life worth
saving but not the sister's?

Love this show. Hope it says on long enough to find it's groove. Intrigued by the love triangle or quadrangle if you add the brother to the mix. I
don't know how he'll keep his job if his wife continues to do all his work because she will eventually resent him for it. Maybe this thrusts her back
into investigative journalism? And has it been explained why he's jumping? Is it like so kind of STD. Will his wife contract it sooner or later?

He doesn't get a choice in who he is supposed to save. He tried to save the sister and that still got screwed up (and she still got crushed under the bridge). That lawyer guy was supposed to survive because he goes on to help alot of people (Can't honestly remember how though). The whole idea of this show is he is supposed to change things so a person who does something good for others survives and is able to do those good deeds. I think there have been lots of questions about where he goes from his boss, wife, brother. His wife has been doing lots of covering up for him as she is the only one who knows where he is at. |

I really appreciate the fact that they haven't dragged out the disbelief from his wife. Things won't be peachy between them, but at least she knows
that he really does go somewhere.
The brother seems like a huge douchebag. Too bad, Titus Pullo couldn't jump centuries and become Lucius's ass-kicking sidekick. |

I'm wondering where Livia goes between their meetings. Or just as important, why she gets to hang out with Dan. Either she's learned to control it or she's on a long-term mission to save him. And how come the brother hasn't put two and two together yet with the $20? He encountered the $20 a number of years before the bill was redesigned. Either he threw it out, gave it back to the cabbie, or filed it away as evidence; either way he almost certainly forgot about it, and when the bill was redesigned I doubt he would have recognized it. At most he would have thought, heh, if I remember correctly that bill I confiscated a few years ago looked a lot like this new one. But the last thing he would have guessed was that it was brought from the future by his brother. Buy a lot of stock in Google or whatever. You mean "FinderSpyder". He could open a savings account as "early" as possible (under a fake name of course so they wouldn't send statements to his past self), deposit as much as he can, and cash it out in the present. And then whenever he's anywhere in the timeline at a point after the account is open, he puts all that money back into the account, a strategy which would either give him an infinite supply of present-day money or blow up the universe, depending on the show's time-travel rules. Notes and nitpicks: - I wonder how far he can go back. Sam Beckett was limited to his own lifetime; are there similar boundaries here? Or could he wake up in the wilderness and save someone during the gold rush? - At one point he prints a list of earthquake victims. The next time he jumps he tries to interfere enough to save his boss's sister or at least affect the death toll in some way. When he gets back to the present, he checks the website against his printout, and they're the same. He concludes he didn't make any changes. But if he did make changes, wouldn't the printout change? Or is it immune because he carried it with him? (I guess it would have to be according to the show's rules: he's remembered events the way they occurred before he changed them, when technically his memory should have changed as well) - The present-day events seemed to occur around the actual airdate of the episode, 10/8/07, because Dan mentions the 18th anniversary of the earthquake is "next week". But a few scenes previously some characters were talking about a baseball game they had watched. Unless his intervening jump made him go missing for a week, it would mean that the Giants were playing in October, and therefore in the playoffs. The Giants had a lousy year, so unless the episode was filmed in or before April, it should have been obvious for most of the season that the Giants were not going to be making the playoffs. Of course, they could have just been talking about a playoff game featuring other teams. This is a terrific show that really seems to know what it's doing. I have no hope for its survival but I'm sticking with it just the same. |

If Livia was jumping before she met Dan, I wonder if she actually jumped to Dan's timeframe and died to save his life. I hope Dan jumps to save Livia's
life, or they just flat out fuck to the max before the show gets cancelled.
Additionally, I really enjoyed how sneaky-cunty Livia was in giving Dan her watch knowing that his wife would eventually find it and end their marriage thus leaving them free to astrally have sexual intercourse throughout the space-time continuum. |

Technically, Livia didn't die. She jumped before the plane crashed and is hopping around in the years before 99.
Either she's learned to control it or she's on a long-term mission to save him.Good point. a strategy which would either give him an infinite supply of present-day money or blow up the universe, depending on the show's time-travel rules.

(I guess it would have to be according to the show's rules: he's remembered events the way they occurred before he changed them, when technically his memory should have changed as well)So far, the rule seems to be that nothing that travels with him changes, including his memory of the original timeline, which seems logical considering he's coming back to a different timeline everytime he changes something.

I gotta think it would suck having sex with J-man. You never know when he going to flash back to the present. At the wrong moment it could be quite
frustrating.
