All the characters are entertaining, with Billy being the only truly unlikable one. Surely, the wrath of god will rain down upon him eventually? Juliet and Jeremy cracked me up. Good casting for those two.

And I wish they had cast Susan Sullivan as Letitia. Other than that, this show is really the only new one I'm really excited about this season.

ABC's "Dirty Sexy Money," 7.4/12 came in second ahead of NBC's "Life," 6.5/11, which led its hour in the 18-49 demo. Someone who speaks 'ratings' tell me how good or bad this is. #2, but lost the demo...

They dropped from Pirvate Practice at 9 but the good news is that ABC held onto most of their audience between shows. 7.4 for the 10 slot isn't great but it's not bad. I think if the audience grows we should be fine, but if it doesn't..I don't know. I think it will be fine this season but beyond? Iffy. This is ABC - they get great ratings and it's competative. A 10 show should be getting at least a 9.0 on this network I think. I fucking LOVED this show and am hooked 100 percent for the season. After just the pilot, I am very into these characters which shows how good of a job they did setting things up. We got to learn about each Darling and their personality/problems and the possibilties for future storylines are endless. I found everyone to be very likeable although I must say that Nick George was annoying me at 1st asking for all that money and then not wanting to really work for any of it, rolling his eyes whenever the Darlings called, etc.. The girl that plays Karen is hot as hell and I already totally feel bad for her b/c she just wants someone to love her for her, not her money. Awwww... She better not marry Freddy, that gold digging loser! Still, loved them all - Juliet ('You're Poor!'), Jeremy, Patrick, etc... Also love that the Priest, Brian, hates Nick and has an illigitimate child and possibly killed or tried to kill if he's alive Nick's Father. I found it to be quite the opposite, Krause was the only truly likable character of the bunch. Not that, that is a knock on the show, I love being annoyed with the rest of them. I just felt the eye rolling was a way of showing Nick's slow realization that his job was going to be a much larger undertaking than even he thought, with just a sprinkle of new found respect for what his father had to put up with all his life. I also think his acting played well against the setup of the hilarious ringtone bit that ran throughout the ep. With that said though, pulling down $10mil a year, with multiple "high maintenance" clients? Dude, hire yourself an assistant or partner. Great stuff, and the interplay between Sutherland and Krause is the thing that will most likely keep me coming back week after week.

I was ready to be disappointed. I expected to be disappointed. But...Donald Sutherland RAWKS!! I love the cast of characters - love the fact that the actor playing a tranny IS a tranny. Billy Baldwn is so greasy and disgusting - he's the perfect politician.

I think that the $10M was a lump sum "charity" payment - not what he gets. It was to go to whatever charities he wanted. He gets something else for his salary, but they didn't specify what that amount was. He doesn't get $10M/yr for himself. BTW - I rarely post, but read these boards almost everyday since the 1st Survivor. THIS SHOW is going to make me start posting. I freakin' LOVED IT!!! About Nick's dad - I think he is not dead, of course. But I am torn about whether Brian had something to do with trying to kill him, or trying to help hime fake his death. I know he has hated Nick all his life, but my gut says he helped the dad to get him out of the Darling life. (I am always reading too much into everything).
