The opening segment of the pilot was sheer perfection. If the show had stayed at that level, it would've been gold - I watched the funeral sequence at least 10 times! I was hooked. Then it spiraled down the crapper. Ok - it's been so long since the last new eps, I was lost last night. Karen and Simon are still together? Did we ahve a wedding that was called off....? Patrick is still attorney general....? Isn't he already a senator.....? Camalitta died at the shoot out at his inaguration, right? I think I need to go and read some older eps recaps..... Edited to add: I think I get it. Recap episode - recapping stuff we never saw that has no bearing on where the current stories are, so they could do a "Usual Suspects" homage. Really helpful. Thanks TPTB.

I know what's going on.
This was the recap ep that was supposed to have aired at Thanksgiving but before ABC pulled the plug on new eps, so the storylines continued along after the point when this was supposed to have aired -- thus Simon and Karen still engaged, Carmelita still alive, Patrick still attorney general, and Letitia still under arrest prior to her exoneration. Remember when folks had their shorts in knots anticipating the return of Samaire Armstrong but were devastated when it didn't happen? This was that ep. Still, why air a recap ep that turns out to be a fake recap ep? Did the guy who wrote The Usual Suspects give them permission to rip off Kaiser Schoze? And just exactly why would it fall to the chaffeur to plant disinformation if that was the Darling's plan all along? It seems like he let the reporter into the house for no reason whatsoever. Tripp could've shut her down with far less effort. Still, fun to have the show back. We'll have the final three eps over the next three weeks. |

Man, that sucked. I hope the last 3 are worth watching.

This woman playing the reporter is horrendous.

Major disappointment last night- did they get new writers?

Finally watched this episode this morning. Shit it deserves to be cancelled based on that one episode alone. I loved this show the first season, the second
season with Simon killed it for me, I was looking forward to seeing Peter Krause so decided to watch it, what a major disappointment.

Last nights episode was so much better than last week. I loved the scenes with Brian, Karen and Nick. Sad that there are only two episodes left.

Was I the only one confused as hell without a "Previously on Dirty Sexy Money..." scene in the beginning. Especially with last week being a complete
lie.

Yeah me too. Little bits and pieces came back while watching, but dayum it's been a long time. T
When ABC burns off eps of a dead series, I guess they don't mess around. The main thing I can't recall is if Carmelita's dead and wasn't it Tripp that did the deed? How come Patrick isn't pissed? Plus, how did the Congressman know about the tranny thing? Fun enough ep despite me wondering why the best three Darlings could do in Wilkes-Barre would be to rent a beat to hell LeBaron. You'd think they'd snap up something new at a dealership without hesitation. Dammit they made a mistake turning the main plot over to Simon Elder. Blair Underwood's usually excellent, but this storyline is pedestrian. Why couldn't they have just stuck to Darling vs. Darling escapades. Dumb beeyotch wife. Takes little Kiki for the weekend and thinks it's Nick's fault for being mad? Too many stupid side characters polluted season 2. Loved the plane crash sequence though. That's DSM of old. |

"Karen's sincerity killed the car" (Nick did mention that that car was the only thing availble to rent - but D4G is right, why didn't they
hop down tot he local dealership and buy something new....?)
More of the Karen/Nick/Brian type stuff, less of the Simon is holding Nola's brother hostage crap, and this might've stuck around for a few more seasons. I actually laughed out loud at some of the lines! I believe Carmelita was shot and killed during crazy Patrick's crazy ex-bro-inlaw's rampage. |

WHAT. THE. FUCK!?!?!
Dirty Sexy Money came back and I had no idea!?!?! And it's on Saturdays at 10!!?!? O_O I'm very tempted to tune in, but also afraid that it just gonna be the worst garbage I've ever seen... What could have been. |

If Simon's being killed off, it's unfortunately happening about 10 episodes too late....

The last 2 episodes have been fantastic. So sad to see this show go.

Was I the only one watching this show last night? Sad that it is over, although I got the impression that the writers left it open with a lot of good
storylines. Perhaps some cable network will pick it up.
