The Envelope had secret sources who had the top 10 finalists of Best Comedy and Best Drama, as well as most of the top 10 in acting categories. Only surprise (or was it?) was that Deadwood didn't make the cut [hellfire]. Brothers & Sisters also was not on the T10. If, at least, 30 Rock is nominated I'll be satisfied. (It's not a shoe-in.) I'm assuming that Baldwin, Fey, and Rossalini will get noms, but fingers crossed that Jane K and McBrayer (the intern) also slips in. Looking forward to another Life on the D List nom! My longshot is that Scrubs' Sarah Chalke, frickin' outstanding and unforgettable in every scene, somehow finagles a nomination. Yeh, I know, not likely ... sigh. Its depressing how many of the same shows will be nominated again and how many lame shows will be nominated over clearly superior shows. Megan Mullaly will be nominated again for Will & Grace, even though it wasnt on this season. Emmy judges had to step over Deadwood and The Wire so that they can nomination this year's craptastic season of 24. The dearth in good comedies will assure Two And A Half Men yet another nomination, as well as Kevin James for King of Queens. 30 Rock has the biggest fear of being snubbed, because it is actually the best.

I'm going out on a limb here but I think for best reality show we will get Survivor, The Amazing Race and The Apprentice, The winner?it's a seeeeecret :P For my money Charm School was the show I enjoyed the most all year though, I hope it gets a nom! Alec Baldwin needs a supporting nod. And Jenna Fischer should get one for actress.

Mrs Jean Harris will be played by Sharon Stone as the self-hating lesbian who wants her... but also wants THE WORLD. Directed by Michael Bay. None taken. IMHO, I think that Project Runway has been shafted, especially since TAR is beginning to get stale. Also, it's BS that Dancing with the Stars has gotten nominated, but So You Think You Can Dance hasn't. They obviously only added a reality category because they felt they had to to stay somewhat current, but it certainly doesn't feel like they've watched it.

TAR - even in it's "stale" state -- usually has at least four, quality, adrenaline soaked good episodes to submit. TAR All Stars was no exception. Unlike most other reality shows, TAR episodes stand on their own even out of context ... no catching up on the drama required. A couple of very well chosen Survivor eppyy could, you'd think, challenge. Certainly it should come closer than a certain glorified karyoke show. All that said, even as a huge TAR fan, I'd have to vote for Project Runway this time around ... there were some tense, excellent PR installments last season ... e.g. Laura's Jeffrey-witchhunt eppy.
