So nothing is really resolved and we never get to know what happens to the girlfriend, Marlowe and the three guys. I just knew stupid ABC would pull this shit.

I think they do repeats on ABC on Fridays. The pilot was available for free (might still be) on iTunes.

I am so fired up by your reaction, even those of you who are upset by the cliffhanger ending. We had the same feeling when we had the order suddenly shortened. But seriously, I warned you guys about the big cliffhanger, but I also promised not to leave you hanging. I will deliver on all accounts. The flow of the show was always meant to be one large question per season. First season, "who is Will Traveler?" Second season, "what is the Fourth Branch?" The show finished shooting back at the end of November, so this ending is what we have for the conclusion of season 1. I have asked ABC to get back to me about the fan initiatives to save the show. I will let you know as soon as I hear any response from them. Thanks again! -- Dave

We watched the epi before we learned it was the "finale". WTF - a finale is supposed answer most of your questions and resolve most of the storyline.

He expects fan initiatives to save the show when he lied to them about it being a standalone season?

It wasn't meant to be a "finale" when it was filmed; they're only calling it that now because it's the final episode. It was Episode 8, but ABC apparently had so little faith in the show that they didn't order the standard 13 episodes (which is what the cliffhanger was obviously intended for), let alone a full season. I don't know why they didn't give it a shot last fall. It was nothing great, but certainly better than "The Nine."

I think every cancelled show should do something like this. Every series has a "Bible" that outlines the story arcs for the show, so why not post it online when the show gets cancelled? It's not the same as watching it on TV, but it's better than nothing.
