I think I am going to love this show but w/ such high expectations...who knows.
From the promos I can tell that it's my kind of comedy and Tina Fey who I freaking adore was on Leno Monday and the clip they showed? I was crying I was laughing so hard. This shit looks hilarious opposed to the show premiering after that just looks like shit. |

The pacing was awkward and nothing seemed cohesive.
It really sucks that Jane Krakowski replaced Rachel Dratch for obvious reasons even though the "cat wrangler" was hilarious. Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin, and Tracey Morgan were all hilarious though. I don't have too, too many bad things to say about this show. It had some pretty brilliant moments. "I'll take an apple juice." "We don't have apple juice, sir." "OK, Vodka tonic."

The show that followed this one (Twenty Great Years) had a laugh track and the difference was extremely noticiable.
Twenty Great Years sucked beyond belief. I wonder if the writers of Twenty Great Years understand just how terrible using a laugh box is. Ever watch some old sitcom that used a laugh track? Sucks beyond belief. |

this new guy, not so bright usher is from Macon, Georgia where he grew up. I read a article about him in his hometown Macon newspaper.

A lot of it was funny. but there's things to be changed; namely the pacing. Still, Fey and Baldwin are top notch.
Dratch was hilarious as the Cat Wrangler, but it just is so depressing because you look at Krakowski (who faired *alright*) and you know that Dratch could have pulled it off a hell of a lot better. |

I generally like dramas over 30 minute sitcoms, but this was fast paced and I loved it.
Now I'm going over to fuss about 20 Great Yrs. |

I agree with those who had issues with the pacing, but hopefully that will improve as the show goes on. Tracy Morgan was not that funny to me, but the rest of the cast more than made up for him. I'll at least give it another shot next week.
