That song. Those cameos. Declan McMannis, International Art Thief
Amazing. |

The line "Your cousin Kenneth already promised me you'd do this" singlehandedly justified Clay Aiken's appearance in this episode. I also
enjoyed Sheryl Crow and Adam Levine's foreign accents. 'very please to meet!' 'ALLO!'
Favorite line of the song "I'm one of the drunk ones!" Will Liz go through with the Dealbreakers book deal? Whatever happened to that plotline about her trying to get a baby? Will we EVER see the premiere of Jackie Jormp-Jomp? Perhaps the best season finale 30 Rock has given us so far. |

Oh god Sheryl & Adam's accents were priceless. They were all great sports. Mary J Blige's Loch Ness charity

I didn't get the reference to Clay Aiken's cousin.
That music number was epic. "Anytime someone starts speaking in the middle of a song, you know it's important." |

Clay's cousin is Kenneth. As in Kenneth the Page.

I thought it was better than last year's finale, but not quite as good as the first season closer. The cameos were actually pretty good and the song was
amusing. Overall, I thought it was a decent episode to end a middling season of 30 Rock.

yeah, this season has had its share of 'off' episodes (I am choosing to blame Salma Hayek) but I can't help but wonder if the "TGS has 2 years
left in it, tops" was a hint that they're thinking about setting an end date for the show. There's always been a huge worry about cancellation for
the series, and now that it's become a solid renewal lock, they might just consider finishing it up in a year or two when they haven't completely burnt
the show out. I'd be fairly pleased with that scenario, knowing it wasn't the network swinging the ax but Fey herself kicking the chair out from
underneath.

Fabulous. MJB/Loch Ness Monster was the most hilarious 30 Rock moment in a while.

Why would you blame Salma Hayek? This is one of the first things I've ever thought she was actually funny in.

Loved the song. And I loved Jenna trying to be the star of it. Gotta watch it again!

MASH reference | ||
|
Tracy: "There was no baby---I was chicken! WAAAA.."
Alan Alda (aka Hawkeye): "A guy crying about a chicken and a baby?? I thought this was a comedy show." From "a very special episode" of MASH --Hawkeye is counseled about forcing a Korean lady to smother her baby. At first he claimed it was a chicken. Not the best joke of the night, but clever. |

Oh nice catch!
Alda's been great on this. I hope he recurs next season. He's a good foil for Jack, idealogically speaking. And I thought Hayak was hilarious on this. I loved "Jalisa". |
