J.D. 8 episodes Cox/Janitor/Kelso 7 episodes Elliot 6 episodes Carla 5.5 episodes (includes cameo in My Last Words) Turk 5 episodes It was a bit odd having no Turk for 2 entire episodes, but they were both great episodes. Highlights for me were Kelso's garden gnomes, Ted getting to shine in the second ep and Ed getting fired. Lack of JD will be interesting next week (although I'm partly looking forward to it)

I hope they consider renewing this for another season, even without JD. I like Ted in small doses, but they should never ever get rid of him.

Why not just have him do the Voice Over, as usual? In the second episode, his voice over was only there for two or three lines, and it seemed to not only sound odd(as in the audio), but also tacked on as if they forgot to do it. I thought both episodes were kind of disappointing, honestly.

And they managed to squeeze all 7 of the leads on this week, even if Elliot felt a bit tacked on in the last 5-10 minutes. Next week's (or is it the week after?) Intern episode should be good, though.
