I think I'd like Ryan to be the daddy if only to see Kelly's reaction.

You are all wrong.
Karen is Oscar's surrogate mother. |

I predict they won't bother with the baby's daddy until the very end of the episode when it's revealed in a very subtle way that it's
Creed's.

I had thought it was going to be Karen returning to the Scranton office, but from the episode description on my cable guide it sounds like it's actually
going to be Michael & Pam going to her office. Apparently Michael goes on some sorta speaking tour to other Dunder-Mifflin offices and Pam is his
driver.

I missed the first 8 minutes, was it any good?

Pretty meh episode overall. The closure with Karen was pretty good, and Andy's storyline was alright, but the Kelly's birthday storyline fell flat and
Michael wasn't at his best besides the cold opening. Definitely one of the worse episodes of the series, but mainly because the quality of the show is so
high to begin with. Only reason to really watch it is Karen.

I didn't think it was that great either. Karen was there just to hug and make up with Pam? Kinda boring.

So-so episode. But the part where Pam threw the candy had me laughing for about 5 minutes.

What?! Perhaps I'm just blinded by Karen love but I thought this was one of the best episodes of the season. Not too goofy, not too uncomfortable--just
right. The Andy story didn't do much for me, but the rest of it was great.
"I just want nothing horrible to ever happen to anyone again. In a way it's good that this happened to me because I can bear it--" "What kind of cake do you want, imbecile?" "Have I ever steered you wrong, Jim?" "You're bald. Your head is shiny. It's reflective. Like a mirror. M. Your name is Mark. ... She's pregnant. Knocked up. K for Karen." |

The only things that made me laugh last night was Michael's presentation to Karen's office and one of Dwights feeble balloons hanging beside him during
a confessional.
The episode was written by Mindy Kaling. They shouldn't let her write an episode by herself. |

I'm with Beatles, as I thought the episode was really funny and I was laughing throughout. The cold opening was hilarious and I watched it 3 times before
watching the rest of the ep.
Michael's presentation also had me in stitches: "Shirty, Moley, Lazy eye, Mexico, fatty, baldy, sugar boobs and black lady" I also thought Jim & Dwight's new roles as dual heads of the party committee storyline was hilarious. I laughed during their shared talking head, Dwight's brown & grey balloons to match the carpet & their exchange with Kelly in the annex. The whole thing was funny. Andy's crush was the only weak story last night, but I still enjoyed it as I am an Andy fan. LOVED Andy consulting with Creed who relates to Andy how Creed got "Squeaky Fromme." That alone made Andy's storyline worthwhile (Creed <3<3). And Stanley bartering the woman to Andy for 2 of Andy's clients. I thought it was a good episode and a nice followup to the Super Bowl episode. |

I liked Andy's storyline! Loved the exchange with Stanley:
Pam's hair is looking good these days. She's come a long way from the straight bangs, barrettes with frizz coming down the back. |

I thought this was one of the best episodes of the season. Every story worked for me (even Andy going after Stanley's client). "It is your
birthday." LMAO. Creed OWNED the episode as well when he talked to Andy and then gave Jim a $3 bill. Probably Mindy Kaling's strongest episode since
the second or third season.

Creed was funny when Michael was on the Speaker. He actually looked out the window when Michael was pretending to be a pilot.

I though this episode was great, especially:
- "I don't like knowing that someone out there hates me. I don't even like to think that Al Qaeda hates me. I'd like to think that if they just got to know me...." - "What kind of cake do you want, imbecile?" - And the single best part of the episode: Pam throwing the mounds bars with a deadpan "I can't believe I am doing this" look on her face. |

I thought this was one of the best episodes of the season.I completely agree. There were so many great moments, and Creed also had some air time which is great since he's one of my favorites. - "It Is Your Birthday." - Pam throwing candy at the employees - The cold open - Michael trying to figure out if Karen's baby belongs to Jim - Jim and Dwight's duo talking head - $3 bill - The balloons - Creed offering advice to Andy and then calling him Jim All great, some even classic. Looking forward to part two. |
