His final video diary as Doctor Who series 3 wrapped up; mentioned that He want to work on other projects as a new play in theater and new upcoming films this year. his fans felt fearful if David is done with Doctor Who role this year? Not yet. David wants to finish his projects first before series 4 starts. fingers cross! Remember that Jack disappeared in ending of finale of Torchwood serie 1? That's why he smiled when the doctor appears with Martha in blue police box. They took Jack in for their next mission on DW's series 3. then Jack's back in opening of series 2 but he refused to tell his team why he run off with the doctor for a reason.

Perhaps "strategy of indirection" would be the more appropriate term, then, in regards to what wasn't being said during that scene. ;) (The innuendos were frankly quite obvious; however, they didn't cover everything that was going on.)

I find it rather enjoyable and you never know who he is either going to kiss or come on to next, male or female. John Barrowman has chemistry with EVERYONE, even the 100-y.o. woman early in season 1 that he was married to back in WWII days. What I thought was really interesting was that Capt Jack was so upset that Gwen was engaged and tells her "I came back for you." Then he has a hotHOTHOT makeout/fight scene with Capt John. Later on, he is asking Ianto out to dinner. Hmm. I have to say, though, my favorite kiss has been between the two Captains Jack, when Jack & Toshiko slipped through to the past at the hotel during WWII. All of the sexual tension between the two Capts Jack up until when Jack pulled former Jack onto the dance floor and then they kissed. Wow. That was a great moment, IMO. I am trying to get caught up on Dr. Who, since I never watched it before, and I've been interested after reading posts in this thread. I've seen most of Season 1 and some of Season 2 on SciFi and I think Season 3 has started again on BBCA leading up to season 4 starting in March or April? Dr. Who is pretty campy, IMO, but it's pretty entertaining. I prefer this new doctor, David Tennant to Christopher Eccleston, because Tennant is a more comical Doctor, which I think fits the theme of the show better. So, if Capt. Jack & Ianto hook up, will Ianto's cyborg ex-girlfrind come back to take out Jack in a fit of jealousy? As long as Capt Jack doesn't settle down, I'll be happy. I prefer my Capt. Jack to be a bit of a slut and make out with any hot thing that walks by.

He seems to think very highly of her and values the "human" quality she brings to their work that the others seem to have lost at times. Even though he is obviously fooling around with Ianto I like the sexual tension he and Gwen seem to have as well.

I simply didn't understand why after setting up Jack/Ianto and I'm sure it ended with the notion that they were together (I'm not entirely sure because I haven't seen the show in a while) only for it to change back to him being interesting for Welsh.

And I agree. Their banter is funny. Jack hitting on everyone and everything is funny. The emotional/serious looks he gives her when they've already established partners needs to FUCKING GO. Next week looks semi terrible. I don't know where I'm going to stand on it.

Really this show can do no wrong as far as I am concerned. I was reading some sci/fi article about it in a magazine and they were so super critical and nasty about this show and Doctor Who. Sci/Fi fans are some of the biggest assholes in the world.
