Am I the only one who half expected another deep, dark Daddy Walker secret to emerge from stuff stashed in those boxes? Another kid? A murder confession? A
letter saying how much he hated his family? Evidence that he was a cross-dresser?

I guess I saw that more as a weirdo who went after three Walker kids in spite of an age difference that varies from season to season.
Buttinsky, that's how Rebecca's been from pretty much the beginning, aside from that awful story where she made a pass at Sarah's husband. Here's the the actor cast as Ryan. More photos. So Ryan's either going to be a heroin addict, or a bad James Dean impersonator, I guess. Either way I'm sure he'll be troubled, and only Rebecca can save him, and on and on. |

Still one of my favorite shows on television.
And still a show I'll pay more attention to than Pogo. |

I'm so sure that a Republican would pick an openly gay campaign manager. And Kevin would actually accept this? I think I believe some of the plot twists on
Chuck and Heroes more than I believe this.

Kevin has to say no to that stupid proposal.
I bet Sarah and Saul will start up their own company. |

I'm just now catching up with the last 3 episodes - I gotta say, I'm really loving this season, actually.

I'll have to see how they handle it... but on paper Kevin going to work for the enemy feels like a jump the shark moment to me.

I just caught Sunday's episode, and I never thought I could love Sarah even more. "You're just Holly's bitch" was hands down one of the best things Sarah has said, and it's awesome that she said it to Tommy. I don't think Kevin accepting Robert's proposal is too far fetched for the show. Yes, he's Republican, but he has an openly gay brother who campaigned for Robert, so that's out there to the public already. |

Wow this show must be tanking if NO ONE has talked about last nights episode.
It was kind of meh for me. The only really interesting story line is Kevin/Scotty - I predicted the non-offer of partner and his acceptance of Robert's position. Bored of: Holly/Nora arguing - its not clever anymore, it just seems pointless Tommy - everything he says and does. His scenes with Saul were deeead, except the last moment of Saul basically saying "let's get rid of Holly" - THIS could help save the season if done correctly. Justin/Rebecca - ugh. I don't know - just not doing it for me. Ryan storyline - yes, already. Nora's charity - seems like a dead end storyline. Robert/Kitty - I unlike most on this board, don't mind Rob Lowe and his character - I think he and Kitty have some great moments, but I am tired of their whole adoption and rocky marriage storyline. Sarah's storyline, if done well could also help the season. Especially with the current economic/job crisis - I think they could do a lot with it. I think they are saving her romantic options for now. I feel like this show has too many great characters that just aren't getting enough time to flesh out. It's trying to spin so many stories that are not connected - unlike Desperate Housewives that typically have a theme to an episode, and then work the stories into that theme. That show has WAY more storylines to deal with, and yet somehow it smoothly works - where B&S to me always seems pretty choppy and like a "choose your own adventure" book - a bunch of different story lines that bounce all over the place. Anyway - I'll keep watching, but the energy and innovation of the first season hasn't come back yet. |

^^^Ewww! That's all I thought during those awkward Rebecca/Justin love making moments. Ewww!
The Kevin/Scotty storyline was alright. We all know that Kevin can't be civil to save his life so him trying to remain cool and calm during Scotty's parents visit was an awesome character arc. For the most part none of the significant others on this show have real personalities or separate lives. Scotty is the first character that doesn't bend and assimilate with the Walker clan and it's refreshing. I don't know where they're going with Sarah this season. I don't want her back at Ojai. We've been there done that with her power struggles with Tommy. Though I do like the idea that Tommy is finally wising up to Holly's power plays. I"m glad that Tommy has finally realised that his family is now barely involved with the family business. It would make for an interesting storyline for Tommy. The McAllisters' storylines is so boring. I almost wished he had taken his faux presidential bid all the way to Nov. 4th. I have no interest in their adoption storyline whatsoever. I'd also like to see Kitty actually do something other than be a wife. |

I actually have really enjoyed this season, except for Rob Lowe's constant douchebaggery and Holly being a total cunt for no reason.
Justin/Rebecca no longer irks me, and I downright loved the whole Scotty/Kevin bit. |

Justin/Rebecca was 10 shades of ew followed by another 10 gallons of ick. Awfulness.
Rob Lowe is such an asshat, and if they're trying to make his character palitable by shoving a queer along side him? I don't think it's going to work because that entire concept was retarded. Is it even the communication director's job to try to change the Senator's mind about things? I mean...it's just so ridiculously unbelievable. Scotty/Kevin/Scott's parents had some great moments but...throwing Kitty/Rob into the mix made things annoying. Republican fandom irks me. Nora develops beautifully every single episode. But last episode was Emmy worthy - in my oinion - because of the subtle way she played that entire thing. Her development from putting up the facade of not caring about getting rid of things to realizing, OMFG, it's all gone. Was so beautiful. I really enjoyed Sarah's storyline and if Saul's new goal is getting rid of Holly I will love it. |

^^^I disagree. This is an episode she should totally submit, but you normally submit 5. However, her competition is too stiff. No one compares to Glenn Close
on Damages.

Is anyone else feeling like they're building up to Robert getting injured or even killed?! OMG, I'm so excited. :-D |

The most perfect thing to ever happen on this show would be Rob Lowe getting blown up in the middle east, first because it would give Calista Flockhart some
really meaty stuff to work with and hopefully get her an Emmy, and also because it would finally get that annoying arrogant douchebag asshat away from my
screen forever.
Loved the episode, especially Nora's meltdown. The only thing that could've made it better would've been for her to yell "I
FUCKING HATE YOU WILLIAM WALKER!" |
