God, if Rebecca is preggers I might just stop watching this show or not watch it live.

What bothered me more was they pulled that tired ass tv cliche about a woman finding out she's pregnant and JUST before she's about to tell the
husband, he says how happy he is not to be having a child
I agree that this season has been really solid though. Glad Scotty got his own storyline for an ep. |

Very good ep aside form the predictable Justin/Rebecca plot. It was great seeing Scotty get a story and Kevin supporting him so well. Nora and the Biker guy
are cute together. I liked how Sarah was able to push her towards him while waiting for Kitty to shave her head. I'm glad they were all rolling their eyes
at Kirtyy bascially subscribing to the Secret in her attempt to find something other than chemo.

I agree with you all- great episode tonight. Maybe it was just me, but the episode didn't seem as focused on plot points, which is why I liked it so much.
Instead, it was more about characterization and how the various characters would react to their current situations (Justin fretting over everything, Kitty
trying to take control, etc.).
Nora and Dr. Simon were great-- I can't wait for more-- but I kept waiting for him to tell her to stop talking about her kids and to focus on herself. I was glad Sarah said essentially the same thing at the end. Rachel Griffiths is amazing-- she really takes the cake when it comes to acting like a concerned family member. Her reaction to Kitty after she shaved her head was exactly as it should have been. I was a little worried at the start that this was another episode where Scotty and Kevin worried about a family matter only to have that issue make them want to have a child even more than before. I'm glad we avoided a third or fourth episode of that type. And Rebecca looked gorgeous at the benefit. Wow. |

Just out of curiosity, would someone's hair fall out THAT fast after chemotherapy?

chuckersil wrote:I don't know how fast it has been because I'm always unsure of the time line. I think that the amount of time for side effects from chemo can vary. For example, about 3 years ago, I had chemo (not a strong one) but started losing my hair within a month. I had many bald patches, but thankfully for me I have a lot of hair and they stayed covered up. I recently (August) completed another mild chemo and held on to my hair through it. However, about 2 weeks after the last dose, my hair started coming out more than normal and it is continuing to fall out. Lots of it. No bald patches but very noticeably thinner. So, I think it just depends. |

After watching Justin in his "study Session" it's pretty obvious he's going to be the world's worst doctor. Does he even know what a
spinal column is?

I think I'm officially done with this show after watching Sarah pimp out her boyfriend as a guy who can draw pictures on hotel soap. Sarah wouldn't be
that stupid. Would she?

Damn, these people sure do drink the vino. They spend all day sipping at a wine festival then Nora & Sarah come home & go straight to another bottle.
I like Callista better bald. That wig is hilarious. |

Missed tonight's episode... did I miss anything important?

Kitty has a wig. French man is gone. The wine is lost. Rebecca is holding off on telling Justin.
I think that's pretty much it. |

Yeah, everyone drank lots of wine. Kitty showed hubby her bald head & he kissed it. Glorious frenchman went back to France forever. The cheap wine turned
out to be prize winning but the hinky vampire kid dumped all of it. Motorcycle doc kissed Nora passionately.

I really enjoyed the show tonight: Nora/Doogie Howser *yes the exchange with the older bitch was great!
Kevin/Scotty going through candidates for surrogates The whole wine win, then loss (wading through the red flood) Frenchy kisses off Sarah and Clasitta 'bald' and terrified about what her hubby will think of her... I thought the show was well put together tonight. And, I do hate the vampire kid. |
