Yes, this one will be about American football. I believe the fictional team in the series will be called the Florida Stingrays.
Lucy Lawless takes over the Tanya role; Kielie Sanchez (Nikki on "Lost") and Gabrielle Union are the other two wives. Eddie Cibrian, James Van Der Beek, and Brian White are their husbands, respectively. |

Love me some Gabrielle Union and I did like the first few seasons of FW, so I'll definitely check out the American version.

I read the Football Wives script. Kind of predictable stuff, but the Desperate Housewives crowd will probably eat it up. There's a likeable grounded character living amongst a bunch of rich cheating sexaholics. Typical fish out of water, forced to swim with the sharks. There's also some mystery elements and obviously sports, so I think it has potential.

I dont know what Football Wives is about, but how long will it last. If the NFL doesnt like it how long can it stay on the air. Again i have no idea what it is about but there was a show on ESPN about football players and their wives and it was gone after the NFL put pressure on them.

the espn show was called playmakers. it got into trouble because it depicted the players fucking around on their wives.
this new abc show will be about the wives fucking around on their husbands. and you know, this being abc and all, that's ok... |

Any news on the reality shows for the 2007-2008 season? I'm most worried about The Amazing Race. That's the one show I live for and I might seriously contemplate suicide if it doesn't get picked up. TAR All-Stars hasn't been all too thrilling so I'm really biting my nails if the execs find it as the perfect excuse to pull the plug citing "its good closure" or some lame shit.
