It starts Monday!!
It's gonna be a hell of a lot better than last time since they're together again.
Since they'll both have jail experience most likely, I'm thinking the 6th edition could be from prison. Now that would be good.

This show is SOOOOO scripted, I think all the overweight people are actors lol
But I still Love it , it's way better than last season Paris and Nicole are much better together than apart |

Here's how I see it:
Season 1 - 90% real Season 2 - 70% real Season 3 - 50% real Season 4 - 30% real Season 5 - 10% real But it's still one of the funniest reality shows. I hate when they try and make Paris and/or Nicole get a "boyfriend" though, like they did in Season 1 with Anthony and "Chops". |

I like the real parts better too, but for some reason Season 3 has always been my favorite, even though that was half-staged and acted. And I think that's also the season where they both were looking their best physically.
And it goes without saying, but once again Nicole is much funnier than Paris, and actually says some funny shit on the spot that she makes up herself. I'm also glad that "SADASAAAA" is back! |

I liked the first episode it reminded me of season one. Hopefully it continues to be a good season.
Loved them taking the camp owners vehicle and using it to try and break open the fridge! Even if this is staged it still entertaining. |

I always thought they were saying "salsa".
Season 4 was definitely the worst one. I love the fake relationships. I love when they come across as real people (Nicole talking about her eating disorder, Paris and Nicole making up, Paris talking about how she loves when people say she is much better than they expected)...no matter how fake and staged those moments are. I always feel that there has to be some truth behind it. |

I watched and it was so obvious which parts were the most scripted/fake (didn't really care about the meeting for dinner part, and the refrigerator part at the end didn't really make me laugh at all).. but I loved everything else. I don't care if it's staged as long as it's not completely obvious.. and some parts of it were just too obvious. But i did like the campfire part with Nicole talking about her eating disorder a lot. Is it just me or does Paris look a lot better on camera than we see in pictures?
But one thing I was wondering the entire episode, was does anyone know anything else about Hunter the counselor (I think that was his name)?? Hes fuckin hot.. |

Read Reality Blurred...This whole thing is a scripted show..No such Camp exists, all are actors...
From Reality Blurred: Simple Life 5 Es Simple Life 5 debuts, follows Paris and Nicole at a pretend camp staffed by actors Paris and Nicole "gave the campers enemas" on The Simple Life 5 This season, which was delayed due to Nicole Richies hospitalization, follows Nicole and Paris as they work at Camp Shawnee as camp counselors for five different groups of campers. The producers have apparently decided to completely give up pretending that this is a reality show, so Im not even quite sure why Im covering it any more. Its an embarrassment to Bunim-Murray, the production company that has enough to be embarrassed by with The Real World. For one, Camp Shawnee doesnt even exist; instead, the location is Camp JCA Shalom, located in Malibu. That camps staff page doesnt include Ed and Dawn Bellante, who are the alleged directors E! says hired Paris and Nicole to work at their camp, so theyre probably actors, too. Author Julia Havey reports on her blog that, thankfully, the show is not dealing with real campers and that the camp said the money paid to them by E! will allow them to provide better services for their real campers. Its one thing to put two celebrities in an artificial context to see what happens, and even give them trailers where they get their hair and makeup done; its another to stage, script, and fake what happens. The real problem is that if E! and the producers acknowledged that the series was a scripted comedy, no one would care. Starting with the first season, the whole point was that Nicole and Paris were fish out of water who couldnt cope with typical American life. Now all thats left is that theyre bad actors being coached by unimaginative producers. Anyway, besides being filmed at a fake camp with hopefully fake campers, at least one of the camps counselors is an actor and former Abercrombie & Fitch model who was cast for this show. The source of this information is E!s own gossip columnist Marc Malkin, who reports that Hunter Cross got the acting bug and moved to L.A. in January and then got the chance to be a counselor on The Simple Life. Cross himself offhandedly acknowledges the bullshit nature of this long-over series, telling E! that producers invented a lot ways for me to take my shirt off. He also told the Herald-Mail about his mutual attraction with Paris Hilton during five weeks of shooting. But the paper says he does not know whether he will see her once her current legal problems are resolved. In other words, since theyre not in contact any more, that romance was probably faked, too. |

^ I am SHOCKED!
Okay, yeah, not really. Like I said above, this current season is only 10% real. The only real parts anymore are when Nicole and Paris interact with people and make up crazy shit to say off the top of their heads. Well actually I am a little disappointed that the camp owners/counselors aren't actually the people that own the camp. I don't see how the show wouldn't have been just as good (or better) with the real people. Oh well, real camp counselors are usually teens who volunteer and have no prior experience anyways, so who cares if it's a hot actor. |

And apparently the show will go on for at least 2 more seasons. Next season they might as well use a studio soundstage and have a scripted comedy.
Hey, you know it would be better than the actual "comedies" that are on TV these days. |

I had to turn it off, as watching people get enemas was just revolting. I would like to see the tv executive that thought that was a great idea for tv, and I can't believe Nicole and Paris agreed to that, totally disgusting and gross.
What was it Susan Powter used to say when she had her infomercials, I can't remember, she had some catch phrase. Quote: Thought so, it seemed like everybody was just reading a script. To quote Paris tho, he was hot. And if by chance those same writers/producers ever read Sucks here, Paris/Nicole with REAL people is what is funny. I think it would be funny if they just worked in a store in L.A. (any state, any city) somewhere, and had to wait on real people, like they did in the first and second editions of the series. It's the incongruity of debutant's like them with the real world that is funny. |

Quote:Um 33 and very sexual. I did not find the scenes I saw sexual or funny at all. I was looking forward to the show. What I saw was just gross. It would have been just as gross and non sexual if they were giving Nicole Ritchie look alikes enimas. |
