Remove this ad This was a really fun show at the time, and is still a guilty pleasure. Some episodes were horrible (still fun), but the good ones rocked! What are your favorite episodes/ characters? I personally loved, Adventures in the Sin Trade: Part 1 & 2. I remember being all into that Alti/Xena fight in Part 2. The flashbacks were also fun! Yay Borias! R.I.P Kevin Smith

It had its low points, like any show, but that doesn't matter to me. I'd put it up against any show out there. I absolute LOVE Karl Urban, and messing with people minds that in fact, he plays both Cupid and Caesar. Karl is an absolute hoot at conventions. Many years ago, someone asked if he was wearing boxers or briefs...so he dropped trou. Boxer-briefs :D Favorite episode: Destiny. Hands down, nothing comes close. Close second: Ides of March. Anyone else here think they should have just ended the show right then and there? It was such a PERFECT episode. Caesar got his, Xena and Gabby got a good death near each other, etc. IMHO, season 5+ absolutely sucked. Between the butchering of Indian culture, the death of most of the Greek Panthon, the Virgin Xena Sue (this is what happens when the lead marries the producer!) and the DUMBEST show closing ever (She feels no guilt over killing gods but lets her self be killed over Samurai? There are so many things wrong with that!)

The only thing I didn't like about the show was that whole Dahak crap and also the shit with Eve. "In the name of Eli I cast you out!" WTF was that? I loved it when Xena was a Valkryie and anything involving her past when she was dark Xena.

It only got better as it went on, except maybe the last season. There were more episodes in that season that I didn't care about compaired to the other seasons. but still ... Great show! Ares got more yummy as time went on. Sad to hear what happened to Kevin Smith. I love Callisto, even when she became all good. But not being part of the last season was a shame. and I love Minya, or more accurate, the actress who played her. I would have liked to see her more. the episode, based in modern time, when they resurrect Xena & Gabby. She sure loved Gabby & her character was hilarious ;)

My sis in law calls me and tells me a guy I had been "sort of" going out with was somewhere with another girl... I was like Uh huh.. She said, well are you ok.. "Yeah.. uh huh.... Hey, can I call you back, I'm going to finish watching Xena." she still tells the story of how I loved Xena more than any one I dated.. :-D ARES (Kevin Smith) - Such a shame that he died as he did. He was my favorite character on the show as well as HOT AS EVER. Callisto - ahhh she was so crazy you couldn't help but LURVE her character. I started disliking the plot of Gabby's evil baby and I thought it was over the edge when they did the whole musical thing. But, I watched it again and it grew on me. Does this show even come on in re runs anymore? I've looked everywhere and can't find it playing on any channels.
