Damn, that was boring.
Who wants to watch a show about Vegas when there's no power and nothing is happening? |

I agree ... not the best episode ever. Vanessa Marcil WAS funny, but somewhat 'over the top' for this episode. Comic relief is OK, but this went beyond the realm of reality. Ditto for Mike's claustrophobia.
This bugged me, too: even IF there was a big event happening in Vegas, since when does one of the swankest casinos ever dip to about 10 guests? I think the writers really took a lot of liberties in this episode to come up with the story, and I was disappointed. Nevertheless, I'll still be tuning in for next week's episode ... and the one after that ... and so on ... |

I was kinda hopeing that they'd play out the Danny/Sam hook up. But with the whole hand holding thing at the end of last night, and Brian Austin coming in next week to play between the sheets with Sam, I'm doubting Sam and Danny have much of a future. Since Brian and Vanessa have a kid IRL, I wonder if she had anything to do with him getting hired as her next playmate.....?
The stuff with Danny and Mary in the elevator was a good way to give us some back story of the two of them.... |

This was easily the weakest epi of the season.
I mean, a half hour into the show somebody (not Caan) remembers there are emergency walkee-talkees at key locations? For, um, emergencies? Pul-leeze! Totally unbelievable and virtually unwatchable! |

I too was disappointed.. I feel asleep and didn't even find out what happened. I thought the episode with the baldwin was a fantastic episode and this one was a little boring.. but they did delve deeper into the who backround of the relationship between them so that was nice..
I think next week looks like it will be a great one as well.. I love Vanessa so it was fun to see her act that way.. |

This week's show was very weak. It was interesting getting the background info on Danny and Mary but to me I don't see the chemistry. I am a new Las Vegas watcher and it seems
Danny is the residence whore. He has been with all the girls. I hope that they don't put him with Mary. (I think her name is Mary....the chick in the elevator) Besides I kind of liked him with Vanessa last week. |

I'm still hoping they'll get rid of Molly Sims. WHY is she there? Arg.
Edit: Just bumping for this episode with the fat hobbit |

Well, okay, second. Only after Joey...the boy in the third grade who was my buddy for 6 weeks. We both broke our arms the week before school started, and the teacher forced us to do everything together. He was cute. Even though I like Las Vegas, this is a double treat. Please, please....when will the industry demand more of this man? |

TM, Sean is working on a Mark Twain movie. I think he'll forever be stuck doing Rudy type roles because he's so great at them. Plus, look out for Goonies 2 one day. It's in the talking stages.

Re: Las Vegas | ||

sigh...Goonies 2 has been in the talking stages for years.... It'll never happen.
THe odd thing is that I'm not one to get star struck. I grew up in LA, still live in LA...lots of people in my neighborhood are in "the industry." People are people.... But I guess I couldn't help it...there will always be a place in my heart for Sean Astin. At least LOTR has given him some more good opportunties. Ahhhhhh, as I type this he's on Access Hollywood. |

The first couple of episodes of the show were actually pretty good. Unfortunately, now they drag in every washed up has been hack around for face time on the show. This has ruined the show. It's all about what fuck is going to be on the show this week. The orginal concept was good, it's garbage now!!!
At least they did cast a few hot chicks though... |
