HD returns tonight at 9pm, my favorite (and only) PBS show.
I love these people. Random items of vague historical value get professionally researched and the gang figures out what it really is.
Example: I saw a repeat over the weekend where a Pennsylvania woman had a flintlock rifle that family history said was used in a Revolutionary War shoot-out between a Tory band of thieves and Revolutionary lawmen (who even knew this crap happened, btw?)
They confirmed that the shoot-out did in fact take place and figured out the barrel and firing mechanism likely was involved in the shoot-out, but that the stock had been replaced a few decades later.
PBS also has the detectives working in teams now, rather than having one assigned to each "case."
Elyse lost the western wardrobe, too -- refreshing as I suspect she's never been west of the Mississippi.
Wes is still a no-fun weenie, and Gwen should die.
Tokufu remains the Man, though.
This is a terrific series; it's good to have it back.
