I can hardly stand to watch Oprah sometimes she thinks she's so cute...then when she comes out to greet the audience - - - like she thinks she's a quarterback on the football field... slapping hands with her fans, yuck! And her clothes - - - she's always wearing something that makes her thunder thighs look bigger...she should read "What Not to Wear..." To have that much money and still not know how to dress is just bad. Hair is usually slammin' though...

I remember where I was when I heard not one but two planes seemed to have hit the WTC. JFK jr? Not so much. I do remember it was nearly the same day of the year as Princess Di.

I live in Mississippi and most of my family lives in New Orleans and on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Many have totally lost their homes but not one has said that America owes them a damned thing, much less and apology. They're also not waiting for the feds to take care of them but that's a whole different story. I also agree that these celebrities... I'm sure they're giving a lot of money but are they opening their homes to the survivors? I seriously doubt it....

I've just seen hundreds of photos of the looters in New Orleans & it looks to me like they ALL came from the very projects that Oprah will more than likely go to to hand out the keys to new homes. I know that may sound racist but it's not meant to. It is just a fact. My brother is married to a black woman & they have worked hard for everything they lost. Their home, car, clothes, jobs...everything. They both teach (or taught) in the inner city schools of New Orleans. Taught the very same kids that were out there looting. What will they get for their hard work? Nothing. Oprah only wants to look like a gracious humanitarian giving out homes to the poor project folks. Brooke is well aware that Oprah would give her left tit to be Tom Cruise's lesbian beard so she was so uncomfortable as Oprah sat there with this expression that makes Renee Zellweger look less of a prune. Brooke defended her position, explained her feelings about the subject and informed Oprah that she barely remembered Tom as she worked with him for about 15 minutes in a film she made when she was 16. This clearly displeased her majesty the Oprah and she asked about the comment at the conclusion of her editorial for the NY Times where she said, "Tom should stick to what he does best and save the world from aliens and leave the decision of what to do with regards to post partum depression to mother's and their doctors.." Uh, OPRAH YOU BITCH... we knew she was talking about the War of Worlds but you wanted Brooke to EXPLAIN it to you... BITCH PLEASE... Tom Cruise used Brooke as a whipping boy for his platform of Scientology - he was never a FRIEND as he kept claiming in the interviews and now she has set that straight and she is entitled to dig at him.. but the GODESS OPRAH cannot have Tom malingned. Christ she must be an honorary thetan.

When Oprah made some comment about Cruise's comment about exercise and vitamins, the audience laughed and she turns to them. WHAT? she asks. then she made some comment that she didn't know about what was best. Come on, bitch. NO ONE is buying the Scientology spiel. BTW, I saw that other knowledgeable Scientologist.Lean Rehami (sp?) saying Brooke Shields should not be allowed to have her child.

But she will always get a thumbs up for generosity. Oh about that looting, had your government done their job and had not taken a week Anarchy would not have ensued. Most of those people "looting" were getting food, not TV's. Ask the National Guard in the Superdome why they were playing cards and not protecting the innocents trapped in that modern day death camp.
