I know you can order them online. Are they worth ordering? I LOVED Buffy. One of my all time favorites. It would bum me out to buy this and have it be pathetic.

I found a site that sold it, but shipping cost more than the damn comic and I hesitated.
I guess I should, but over time, $7 an issue is going to get really pricey when you just know a graphic novel will be released eventually for $20. |

They're reprinting virtually every issue (yeah all three of them) so there shouldn't be any shortage.
Now if you just happen to live a hundred miles from the nearest comic store, probably best to wait for the omnibus release. I figure that'll be sometime in mid/late 2009 . |

For those with no/awful comic stores, I saw issue 3 in stock at my local Barnes & Noble.
About Issue 3, I loved what Giant dawn did. Also, thought the last page reveal was pretty cool, even though it took me a couple minutes to realize who it was. |

Buffy 1 & 2 will be reprinted soon. For those who have lives & don't read the 4 color crack (comic books) regularly , that means you should be able to find copies for the 2.99 they were originally priced at.

Number three was great - revealed another bad guy and a bad guy I always thought they should bring back - but is he a good guy now? Possibly some even badder guys yet to come.
I don't want to spoil anything but if you get issue three you may get to see naked Spike and Angel. I'm just sayin. Line of the issue, when Willow finds out Dawn is a giant: "What'd she do, bone a thricewise?" |

I'm coming in late again. Did you folks know that another comic book company is currently doing comics featuring Angel & Spike? You can probably order them through the website (IDW or something like that). My favorite is Spike Vs Dracula. I bought one just for the Puppet Angel painted cover.

Just about to read my issue 4, but maybe I'll hold off a bit since number five doesn't come out until August.
Dark Horse has announced it will be releasing the first five issues of season 8, "The Long Way Home" bound with all the cover art, on Nov. 14 for sixteen bucks. Might be more convenient for those who have trouble finding a comic store with stock, plus you'll be able to order it online and only pay one shipping charge. Also there was a mention that for the issue 6-9 arc, Faith will be tending to the Cleveland hellmouth. :-) |

I've really enjoyed the 4 issues so far but I find it a little hard to follow. I'm not a big comic book reader so maybe it has something to do with that, I find myself having to re-read stuff. I guess it's the usual buffy style of speaking that isn't coming across properly in print.
I'm disappointed we have to wait till August for The Chain but the Faith arc should be good. |
