FYI, I am now in possession of all 4 comics. I haven't read them yet, obviously, but I look forward to checking in upon so doing.

Funny. Me too. I'm not sure why I haven't read them.
I found out recently Borders is carrying them. Thank you Borders. That almost makes up for your prices. |

Issue four had some really cool stuff dealing with the rescue. I liked some of the deliberately vague things they were doing, especially with who Willow was talking to in her, what should I call it, "happy place".
But the ending "reveal" was - I don't know. It was ambiguous but not really because I don't for a second believe that's who Buffy is really fighting this time out. My reaction was probably the same as Buffy's except without the serious death stare. A little disappointing. And whither Giles? Last I remember he was talking to demons trying to figure out the mix up from issue one. Some of the letters they publish are psychotic. I love people who think threatening to withdraw their "support" for the comic is anything but ludicrous. |

I'm less eager about this series than I was about Buffy. But I won't get all judgy until I see at least the first book or two. Then... no promises.
Meanwhile, Buffy continues to impress. |

I will definitely be reading Angel, but I'm sure I'll like Buffy better. The graphics alone look better in Buffy from the preview on the site.
Meanwhile, loving the Faith storyline!!! Bring on the next eppy! |

Anyone else read the new Angel yet? Great stuff. Nicely taking advantage of the format what with all the demons.

If they resurrect Cordy, count me in for Angel. Otherwise, I remain steadfastly opposed. Cordelia love! |

I'll keep you apprised. :)

I second Ralph's objection. The heart of Angel died in season 4 and was officially killed off in season five with Cordelia and then Wesley's
death. One resurrection was a good start, but no Cordy, no comic booky.
Based on your posted spoiler, I take it Angel is once again a vampire-daddy. How many ensouled vamps can there be? |

More Buffy goodness came out this week.
Spike has his own mini series too. In the comics; it looks like all the ladies got breast enhancements after leaving Sunnydale. |

I can't believe Willow's gone all Big Bad AGAIN! I mean, it was obvious throughout the issue that it was her, but still... I think this is my least
favorite issue so far... I hope they get through this arc quickly & back to something more interesting.
Meanwhile, I'm still trying to figure out where Angel is going... I'm much less entertained by that book than I'd hoped to be. If it doesn't pick up soon it may not last long in the subscription pile. And because of that, I couldn't even bring myself to get the Spike storyline. Same drab story from a different perspective? No thanks. As much as I adore Spike I just didn't think I could handle the rehashing. |

They've been alluding to it for a while. Willow's big badness. My favorite issue so far was with her and Buffy going into the house and seeing those
things. And then that last image of them walking away from each other. Great one that one.

I think Angel is only a limited run.

$3.99 for a comic book? Grrr. Still, I'm glad they've included Gwen the electro-cutie and Wes is back. Those Wolfram & Hart contracts are tough!

Anyone still following the Buffy and Angel post series comic books? I've been kind of keeping up with them.
I'm still hoping someday we'll see Buffy/Angel come to the big screen with the recent adaptions of other tv series hitting the big screen. |
