I don't think the next contestant (the guy who started last night) is an actor. If he is, he sucks! I am willing to wager the guy won't walk away w/more than MAYBE ten grand.

This show hooked me.
I was screeming at the TV! What a stupid greedy bitch! I thought for a moment she was going to do the smart thing when she said that there she makes the decisions, but alas stupidity won again! If I was the "Banker" at the end, I would have only offered her 10K, the 25K made the decision easy IMO. I guess these people never watch millionare and see how much "work" they have to do to get to 100K. I think I could play this game, maybe.... |

Yea, unlike last night I agree with what he did. In reality he kept his mr unlucky moniker cause he picked them in the worst order possible. If I had a 3/4 chance of getting big bucks I would have had to go for it.

Final 'deal' was made with: $10,000 $300,000 $400,000 Offer was $189,000 Odds are 2:1 has a bigger case than the offer. Odds are 1/3 he will remove the $10k from the board, meaning a guaranteed payout of $300,000-$400,000 He should have played one more case. Even the worst case, he'd get an offer of over $150,000. The case he would have picked would have upped the offer to $200,000. His downside risk was in that the jackpot would drop by $39,000 (had he eliminated the $400k) His upside risk (which was 2 times as likely of happening) was of a jackpot larger by at least $11,000 but just as likely by $161,000. He should have opened at least one more case before making that call. |
