We rented the first season and it was pretty good. Haven't felt compelled to rent any more though.

I watched my very 1st full eppy last night. Was bored until Keifer ate a guy's throat. If he could eat maybe 5 or 6 throats per eppy I'd watch the rest of the season. But it's retarded.

Good plots but so many unrealistic moments that ruin a show that could be awesome but instead is just good.

Last night's 24 was the first one I've watched, too.
I can understand the hype, but I simply can't suspend my belief enough to think that all this stuff can happen to the same guy in a 24-hour time span for now the SIXTH time. |

I used to like Keifer, but then when I heard him advertise everything from Ginsu knives to Chevy trucks, he/his voice started to grate on my nerves.

The show doesn't really require a knowledge of past seasons to understand, so you could just start watching this season and pretty much know everything thats going on.
If you're really into it, rent seasons 1 and 5, they're the best. |

I think this show is mostly appreciated by people who've watched previous seasons, not because the current plots depend on them, but because most fans can handle the considerable suspension of disbelief required. I'm pretty sure I would hate 24 if I'd started watching it last night.

I watched my first episode last season, and I loved it. Since then I've caught up on everything I missed, and it's one of my favourite shows.

If I'd started watching it last night, I would've thought Hannibal Jack was the stupidest thing ever (but as a longtime 24 viewer, I thought it was awesome and hilarious).

I haven't seen one episode and don't really have any interest but even if I did, the whole timeline of it all would def. seem overwhelming. Non procedural shows can be hard to come into late but 24 is even worse b/c each episode is only 1 hour of time so the whole damn series has only been a bit over 5 days or maybe 6, not sure so everything matters and it would be hella confusing and frustrating to just jump in late.
Meh - I won't watch but I am shocked that some actually decided to tune in for the 1st time last night after missing so much. |
