Quote: That makes her great as a TV personality. I agree, she would be great as an ANTM judge (but Tyra would hate her). Still, if she worked for me, I'd fire her so fast her head would spin. Life's too short and that bitch is a NIGHTMARE!!! |

She would make a horrible judge for ANTM. None of the girls would be good enough for her!

Is Trump Models supposed to be a step up from Wilhelmina?

Re: The Agency | ||

Trump and Wilhelmina can't be anymore different. Becky's approach is more compatible to Trump's organisation plus she doesn't have the added pressure+sisyphean burden of trying to revive a nearly extinct board. but give her a couple of more years because as with any job which one outgrows malaise, boredom, dissention, and apathy will kick in. that was the situation with her previous employers and it will eventually happen at Trump management. currently, Becky+Trump are in a comfortable position as far as their board standing goes, however, everything in fashion is fleeting.
Trump functions as an exclusive boutique agency for women and going solely on superficial rankings, it's regarded as a more prestigious+dynamic board than Wilhelmina. for the past few years, the company has produced a fine crop of high fashion edit/runway/campaign girls some of whom have snagged the most sought after high-profile moneyjobs. whilst Wilhelmina's women's division stagnates, Trump's infinitely superior scouting system is continually developing new faces in order to keep up with the everchanging trends. they have their staple of starmods but their high turnover rate makes Trump a bit of a revolving door for models. Wilhelmina generates more revenue than Trump because it's a multinational company with various divisions. whilst most top agencies have a defined aesthetic or "model look" to embody their company brand, Wilhelmina adheres to a populist "something for everyone" credo. they undertake even the most unfashionable jobs that discriminating nyc agencies wouldn't dare condescend to forgoing esteem for currency. their loyalty is unparalleled even in fashion where the dictum is "once something has passed from novel to ubiquitous, it loses interest." as a result, advertising clients don't find them nearly as intimidating as other elitist nyc agencies and thereby appreciate/reward their fealty. though despite the success of their men's+commercial divisions, they seriously need to lazarus their high end women's for the editorial visibility and extremely chic+lucrative campaigns in order to survive in the competitive nyc market. a bigger scan than what i posted previously: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() <3 señor del conejo Josh Juan de Waldo <3 *photo by COACD |

Caught up with the last two eps. Damn, the finale was such a letdown. I half expected Becky to rip them all new ones, but she was actually rather calm. Everything just fizzled. Meh.
Thought it was funny/interesting that if Becky was such a monster, how the heck did she ever get to be the point person for basically most of the models on their board? Doesn't make sense. She was obviously good then. Pink the pudgy pushover finally roared and turned even more beet red when he yelled at her to walk out. Hahahahahaha. And then scrambling to call the models to let them know the axe fell. Guffaw. I could only handle Becky in small increments, but she gave the show an angle nonetheless. Wouldn't mind seeing how the rest of the agents actually do their thing and the industry in general though. Spread the camera time. Someone else will step up if there is a second season. Questions for the insiders: Did Fernanda lose the tree trunks? How well did the High End Men's Board do with handling her after wrestling control from Pink? Did she become the money maker they dreamed about, or was Becky right? That promo book turned into a pathetic, easily torn and wrinkled piece of flimsy folded poster paper? How's that supposed to be worth putting up your own money to be in? Did you laugh when you got that piece of shite? Am I not getting the greatness of that concept? Did Lola become an agent at Wilhemina? She scares me. Looks like a white trash drunk from central casting. The show is a great concept. |
