Finally watched it, and I had a single tear trail from my eye in the end.
I know a lot of people didn't like that Micheal died, I didn't either, but that's like you know? You can't always have a happy ending. Micheal beat everything external which was thrown at him, but he couldn't beat what was internal. And really, he overworked that poor brain of his during the course of the four seasons, its no wonder it went out on him! |

And so ends of four seasons of crazy coincidences and MacGuyver adventures. I'm also surprised at how slowly time passed on the show. Four seasons took place in the span of one year? I actually liked that Michael died. Not for his sins like the creator of the show said. I took it more like he gave everything he had to save the people he loved, even though at the same time he caused an insane amount of collateral damage that weighed on him. It ended fittingly for everyone. |

His death will overshadow all the other talk about things on the show that didnt make any sense whatsoever (which is a lot), therefore it was a good ending.
I had a hard time watching since mid-season 2 if I remember correctly, but just like when having started reading a book, I cant stop without having read to the end, no matter how hard it sucks. I need help. |

Prison Break: The Final Break as they are calling the telemovie has aired in the UK and it's up on torrents. It's a decent if not nice farewell
epilogue to the show. It wasn't exactly necessary since we already know how everyone ends up in the finale but this shows exactly what happened before they
got there. But we do find out what's happened to Gretchen in this one. And it's fun to see how the writers manage to work everyone into the plot of
this one, even the General and T-Bag.

The dvd cover is so misleading. Sarah does not run around with a gun looking like that. She's in prison sweats for almost the entire thing. And
"prepare yourself for the truth"?
There is nothing surprising about this at all. It's a fairly by the book account of Sarah getting sent to jail (in a jail/prison even
though she's not yet seen the court because of overcrowding) and how Michael and the team work to get her out. There's not much time in the hour
and twenty minutes (basically what was supposed to be episodes 23 and 24) to really do much more than that because they have to keep going back and forth
between Michael and the team and Sarah in prison. We get a taste of what Cherry Hill could have been like if they had done it. Sarah basically has to watch
out for crooked prison guards, being invited by "Daddy" (Played by Lori Petty!) into her "family" as well as dealing with Gretchen
who's told by the General to snuff Sarah as revenge towards Michael. Of course it gets out that there's a price on her head and the other inmates
start to get in on the action. There's really not much thought given to the whole breakout plan since it's basically just 2 episodes. It took the
entire first season for Michael to break out of Fox River and we're probably never going to get anything as tense and exciting as that. So of course it
ends with Sarah finally escaping and... something else I won't spoil but it's telegraphed well in advance and you can see it coming a mile away.
So I guess this is the final word to this epic series. As Michael says at the end... |

Just finished watching it. A nice way to end the series. It's clear the writers wanted to go through with their Cherry Hill idea, and I'm glad they got
it out of their system finally. It actually worked for me. It was nice to get back to a prison-centric setting, and the twists and turns for this final ride
were great. It almost felt like season 1 again.

Costa Rica because it is where Sara and Linc were heading to at the end. I highly doubt Sara as a fugitive would be let back into the US. So how did Sara
manage to get Michael's body brought over to where she was to be buried? And why would they go to all that trouble in the first place, considering
Michael died in the process of committing a jailbreak? Wouldn't the authorities be watching out for that and trace where Sara was?
And yes, it is fitting that we end watching this series still questioning the logic and logistics of plot of this show.
