Iman is heavenly. <3 Good riddance, Darrin. Not only was he annoying, but that design was just hideous. I wanted to rip those shorts off of it.

Love the way the french pronounce FOCUS!...lol That aside, I really liked her design and thought she definitely deserved to win that challenge. Darren was definitely out of his league there. The production of the show seems quite good. Iman is sooooo over the top. Like to look at Lucien, and appreciated his work, but am a typical Canadian and like the clean lines and not the overdone layering and bows..ewww. Go home girl Carlie! |

Great premiere! TBH, it seems very promising for a Canadian production and looks great. I was sort of hoping to see some CNTM rejects on the catwalk.
That wannabe-Jay-McCarroll douchebag Bidell will probably win, even though I will say his dress was pretty good. |

Not bad, not bad. Iman is very promising, though Heidi's"you're in or you're out" tagline will never be topped, so can we please can the
"you just don't measure up" nonsense. And I quite liked Brian Bailey who is a much better Tim Gunn substitute than the douche they had on Project
Catwalk.
I was a bit underwhelmed by the contestants personality-wise, but recognize that it might take a few episodes for some big personalities to shine. Loved the funky quebecoise, and the funny little Asian dude. And agree that the Biddell guy was aping Jay McCarroll too much to enjoy. I'm glad Darin was cut first, that guy was way annoying and that outfit was ugly as fuck I don't care what it was made of. All in all there were some really decent designs there, so that's promising. My main complaint seems to be the judging, which was fair and astute, but very sedate. For me the Michael Kors-Nina Garcia judging lineup makes Project Runway. Even Project Catwalk had that evil little welsh troll. Not that they need to be nasty per se, just a bit more colourful. The preview for next week does look promising though. We'll see. |

I've never watched PR before but the first 15 minutes last night was okay in my opinion (maybe it's because it was filmed in HD, unlike CNTM). I
didn't watch it all the way through though. I might have to dl the torrents (if there are any).
Iman sounded very robotic. But she looked stunning nonetheless. |

Finalllllly found this episode and watched it. It was great. I'm already emotionally rooting for certain people and I feel like most everyone got a good
start editing wise this episode. I love how there are like 7 girls and 4 guys in the competition at this point. I have plenty of females to root for.
Also...they showed the sketches that were the BEST artistically of anyone I've seen in a Project Runway/Catwalk show. It was that woman..Sofia! Her
drawings were amazing.
