I'm tired of Grace with her men problems and now she's involved with Eric Stolz? Eeek, two redheads = wrong. Will is boring as ever. The parts with Alec Baldwin is sorta funny. Thank God there's still Jack and Karen. Anyone noticed how Karen has porked up over the years? This season's cliffhanger: "Stanley? You're alive?"

I can't help but think they have Stan coming back cause they don't know what else to do with the show!! W&G has always been a great show, but with every show there comes a time to call it a day...

I can't imagine we'll ever get to see Stan. For one thing, I can't think of any unseen sitcom characters (like Maris from Frasier, Vera from Cheers, or Dorothy's cross-dressing brother Phil on the Golden Girls) than we ended up seeing eventually. Also, nowadays sitcoms rarely make fun of fat actors. Writers love their fat jokes, but audiences feel sorry for the actors playing the fatties. So we get fat jokes about characters like Stan, who are never seen, or we get fat jokes about actors who aren't even remotely fat, like when Jack makes fun of Will's weight, or we get fat jokes about characters who used to be fat but aren't anymore, like Monica on Friends or Helen on Wings.

Thank Gd that never happened, with Grace meeting her husband Leo instead (Of course lots have said the show jumped when those two got married). I would have given up on the show if it wasn't for Karen Walker, she's the whole show to me these days. For a while it looked like W&G was actually improving this season. The first two episodes of the 2004-5 season (with J-Lo and Janet) were downright silly, but then things were getting better, with more restraint in guest stars--or at least those stars were better cast in the show, and not just because they are stars--as well as letting Will have a boyfriend and not be squeamish about showing it for a change. Then around Janurary all that goes out the window and it's back to the endless ridiculous parade of guest stars and all of a sudden Will's BF Vince becomes a psycho glove fetish freak and breaks up with him and Will's an eunnuch once again. I guess NBC was either reacting to the declining ratings of the Thursday night line-up and/or the results of the 2004 elections. As for the "Stanley?" cliffhanger, if this ends up with Karen waking up and seeing that Stanley having died was all just a dream--shade of Bobby on Dallas*--I'm going to shoot my TV.

What other work for him is then "On the next Will and Grace special guest star Nia Peebles." The only thing left for this show to try, (now that they have added kids, marriage, death etc) is to have the apartment burn down and have Will and Grace open a gift shop called over our heads.

Leo definitely was a JTS moment (or better still - they jumped when they finally realized they were getting really OLD) but I can still watch it without vomiting But I don't really find it to be a show about gays. Jack maybe, but Will is bone-straight
