I luv Karen and Jack followed by Grace and then Will. Rosario is actually the least funny imo and her lines often fall flat.

I don't get all the hate..I luv this show and imo it is just as funny as usual. Post after post in this thread people are commenting on how Will and Grace is just not as great as it used to be but I def. disagree. It's hysterical, the characters are just as likeable and it is 'must see tv' in this house.

It's "LIVE" with Will & Grace, again!
NBC's Emmy Award-winning Will & Grace will welcome 2006 with the second live episode of its eighth and final season on Thursday, January 12, 8-8:30 p.m. ET. Karen (Megan Mullally) throws a birthday party and ends up staying in the bathroom with her friends for virtually the entire episode. All of New York's high society has been invited to Karen's birthday party but the affair disintegrates when Will (Eric McCormack), Grace (Debra Messing) and Jack (Sean Hayes) all embarrass themselves and wind up crammed together in Karen's bathroom with the birthday girl. |

Sounds like lots of fun...the premiere was hysterical. Still sad that this is the last season, I am a fan of this show. I find it to be funny.

I think it's still funny as it was before, and those live shows really are hilarious. I'm hoping they'll put both versions (East and West) on the DVDs, since both are somewhat different and have some elements come across as funnier than in the other version.
ETA: They should do every episode from now on live. They're way funnier. |

The show starts its final three episode stretch this week. I'm actually sadder about it ending then I was about Friends.

I was sadder about Friends by damn do those new Will and Grace, only 3 eps left, previews w/ the sad music make me tear up.
I missed the last few shows b/c I have been watching Survivor and didn't care enough to tape the show..I def. regret that. Anyone that watches weekly..the last new show I saw was when Will really liked that black guy and Grace decided to marry him so that he could stay in the country and Will could see where their connection was going. What has happened plot wise since then? From the previews i c that Grace is pregnant. |

The black guy ended up being a freak, he was really mean to people, and so Will dumped him and he's out of the picture now.
Grace was knocked up when she had a "one flight stand" with Leo when she bumped into him on a plane trip to the UK. She has tried to tell Leo she's preggers, but he's getting married to someone else and so she wimped out on telling him. I forget what else happened. Karen got drunk or something and Jack queened out. |

Is Grace still married to the black guy? What does it mean when you say 'Jack queened out?'

I'm with you Greenbean. Since they moved it from 9:00 p.m. (ages ago) I haven't been able to watch Will & Grace, cause it clashes with Survivor.
But my consolation has been that you can see W&G in reruns, not so with Survivor. Sad that it is ending, but it had to go out someday. It's been a good run. |

Quote: I don't think she ever went thru with the actual wedding; they had only planned on it happening. Or maybe she did and it was annulled. I don't remember it happening though. I said "Jack queened out," because that's all he ever does on that show - throws sissy fits about one thing or another. I just meant it's the same old same old with him and Karen. |

At the end of the episode when Will figured out he didn't really like the guy, he came in and told Grace her marriage was annulled.

Karen's character never bores me. Megan brought to life one of the best sitcom characters in history. She's usually hilarious, but those moments when she shows her vulnerability, especially lately with seemingly wanting to have a baby, she can break your heart.
I have always enjoyed the show even when it wasn't at its best. It's nice knowing it's always there, but now it is a bit sad that it's almost over. Yeah, there are reruns forever, but the finales are always bittersweet. |

Karen has always been my favorite character on W&G. If you've seen the first episode, you know how much her character changed afterwards.

This show ending makes me want to cry.
The commercials are so sad too, and I agree it is not force fed like Friends, I'm really just sad its ending. I think the ending to the show needs to be Will and Grace marrying. |
