Anyone here a fan of the Graham Norton show? I wish that was still on, but the repeats are still fun to watch.

I bet you did, that British accent would do me in.

Quote: Oh? Were you in craft services on the TotC set? ;-) I've encountered many famous people, but I rarely go up to them. Would you be surprised that in real life, I'm actually quite shy and reserved? |

I bet a majority of posters around here are shy and reserved in real life.
Thanks for the tip on Graham! I loved his talk show, it was always funny and unpredictable. |

seaguy, I should have sent the BBC link, but wanted you to see the bit about the Lifetime pilot, too.
www.bbcamerica.com/content/231/index.jsp www.bbcamerica.com/content/231/guide.jsp Looks like a varied group of guests. And, no, it wouldn't surprise me to find out that most of us are reserved in real life. Still doesn't mean I wouldn't like to throw a dinner party for a bunch of us. ;-) |

i've never found the graham norton show interesting ever.
anyone here watch Noah's Arc. that's one show i really like - doesn't really have repeat rerun value for me though, unlike QAF or Sex and City and all the sitcoms though. |

^I never got into Noah's Arc. I like Darryl Stephens, and liked him a lot in "Another Gay Movie", though.
Graham has no rerun value for me. I watch the reruns on LOGO, and it already seems so dated, even though they're all fairly new. And even then, my faves were the ones recorded in NYC, because they were all American celebs and references, for the most part. |

The Graham reruns can still be funny. I didn't so much like his skits, but his guests were always fun. It was also fun never knowing what the hell their reactions would be. I loved when he and the guests would call random people.
Noah's Ark is ok. It's too over the top and really badly acted. But I still watch on occasion. Cousin O, let me know about the dinner party, I'll be there. |

'Big Gay Sketch Show" - I don't get Logo but have seen various vids of the "Big Gay Sketch Show" available at various places, and it's the most unfunny show I've seen in a while.
Horrible. |

^ Julie, I watched a few earlier as well. I like the one where the guy goes to one of those speed dating things.
Quote: This just started on BBC America, and I'm taping it. I wonder if Gregoire knows about this, as Orlando is on next weeks show. It repeats again in a few hours. |

Watching SuitSnob poop on people would be more entertaining than watching The Big Gay Sketch Show.

We lost a few posts last night in the migration.
Did anyone watch the debates? I think Kucinch is an incredibly good hearted person, so not political. That's why he has no chance to be elected. The ones who came off the best were Obama & Clinton. I really thought Edwards was a condescending ass. |

Has anyone seen that new series "Rick and Steve - The Happiest Gay Couple in America"? I've caught a couple episodes and thought it was pretty
funny stuff. Alan Cumming, Wilson Cruz and Margaret Cho provide some of the voices.

^I'm'a no watch this.
If I recall correctly, the night it premiered, I was already taping 4 shows, and didn't have another VCR to catch it. It fell off my radar after that, and I only remembered about it when I saw the promo for it again this weekend, when I was watching the "Go Dragons!" documentary for the 111th time. WTF am I doing taping 4 shows in one night in SUMMER?!? Just a few years ago, I could almost go the whole summer without taping ANYTHING for 3 months! |

yeah i caught a few epis of Rick and Steve .. its kind of hit and miss with the jokes - the cat episode was awful, but some other bits were pretty funny.
Good for watching when nothing else is on. |

^Since I saw an ad for the DVD set in the Advocate (in stores August 28th, I think), I'll just add it to the Netflix queue. It probably runs better all in
one shot, like Queer Duck did for me.
