Oh, he was terrible. Making his daughter play when she was still hurt and then making fun of her when she was obviously hurt later.

Wow..usually there is something 'wrong' w/ each family but the lesbian family couldn't be any more 'normal' in a this is how to raise a family the right way way and the Oregon family couldn't be any more screwed up w/ 2 abrasive, disgustingly cruel, parents and 2 foul mouthed children.
I am glad that Trading Spouses is showing the gay family in a positive light but there is something super annoying about having someone as loud and fucked up as the Oregon mom being shacked up w/ a nice, well mannered, passive woman. Speak up! Ugh...I would have loved to have Oregon mom be shacked up w/ someone that is not afraid to be confrontational and would call her out on her shit and homophobic remarks and make her sweat. It was very frustrating. |

Feel that the Oregon woman needs to visit large cities and see what the real world looks like...but -JMO -feel that the producers really set her up with that "party". Funny how the only ones invited were an hispanic and one that has a down syn. child - exactly what Oregon made statements about.
After all that, glad to see that both women did a good job in distributing the money. |

I was actually touched, I don't think the racist/awful mom could have has more self reflection and come away better for it. She actually seemed to understand her actions when the daughters argued with each other at the end, like the cycle continuing.
Pepper had it in the bag in the first episode as the likeable one, but editing magic no doubt. |

That Oregon mom wasn't set up -- she was just an ugly person and it came out when she was confronted by people who weren't as ugly as she was.
Pepper never brought up the Down syndrome directly. It all started with them asking bitch-face how it was going and then she started off with "Oh, it's awful!" When the asked why, she wasn't shy about saying what she did or didn't like. Pepper tried to put it diplomatically by mentioning that she felt homosexuality was a birth defect -- and bitch-face was the one who said, "NO, tell them what kind of birth defect..." That's when Pepper said it was Down syndrome. Bitch-face is just an ugly, angry woman and deserve everyone's scorn and revulsion. |

Hopefully the monster mom really did get a clue. She seemed to, right at the end. I couldn't believe she was shaking so bad. She was afraid her family wouldn't want her back. They both did a good job of distributing the money.
I would really like to see an update show on some of these families, and see if they stick to their new ideas and such. |

why did only one daughter get money for college?

Re: Trading Spouses | ||

I wondered that too. One got 1,000 bucks for clothes and the other got 10,000 for college. That's not right.

Talk about a Keith Richards wannabe!
And the other family, the 2 daughters had to be the laziest, worthless, waste of space. Keith wannabe hit the nail on the head when he told their mom that he hit a nerve when he told her that she was complaining about his daughter because she didn't do to well (his words "do to good") with her daughters. |

A 21-year-old who doesn't drive because it costs too much to get her license? (She obviously didn't mind spending too much money on other stuff because she's in debt up to her eyeballs.) Something tells me it's not money that's keeping her from her license...
Rocker Dad is playing up to the camera way too much. But, this episode sure is making a good case for homeschooling. LOL |

I felt bad for the aging rockers' daughter, but I guess someone had to be the adult in that house.
And he needs to cut the shit, no one in America thinks he's cool. He's a drunk and a fool. And he's not going to get a record deal out of this, sorry. As for prehistoric caveman dad, he needs a slap upside his head. The DAY I would listen to him tell me that I needed to vacuum...he's be having a hard time reaching that far up his rectum to retrieve that vacuum. And his daughters are losers, plain and simple. Not enough money for a license, but plenty to buy that hideous blue eyeshadow. Losers, all of them, except ballet-kid. |
