This unique talent allows him to retrace the steps leading up to their murders and helps him to solve the cases. Although he also must also deal with the apparition of his dead partner, Raines won't stop until each killer is found and brought to justice. Raines was created by Graham Yost and Frank Darabont is the executive producer. I'll be there. This one has potential. I love Jeff.

I may even give up Shark for this one (ie watch Shark later). Is this a short run, due to end when they bring ER back for its final season episodes?

This is only a midseason filler. Reviews are pretty good so it has a chance even with all the other shows out there with similarities.

I remember JG when he was just starting out was in a review called La Grande Coca Cola on off-B'way in NYC. (never got to see it, though) ETA: and she (Geena Davis for those who don't know) was never the same after they divorced -- meaning her career just seemed to tank after that (or was it my innate prejudice in favor of JG)

Jeff Goldblum's character is odd and snarky (like Dr. Gregory House), he sees dead people (like Melinda Gordon, albeit in his imagination), and he solves crimes (like on Law & Order and every other show in the universe).
