Umm.....I can't remember exactly, I think they had some woman there who was in witness protection, and the ambulance bomb was intended for her. There was
some discussion between (I think it was) Sam and Pratt over who was going to ride in the ambulance.
That one Dr. looks way different with all that hair. I didn't recognize him at first. |

First time in a long time that I turned it off after 15 minutes. I'm like no Pratt? No Abby? No Luka? WTF? And Angela Bassett was bugging the hell out
of me. Good luck, ER, on your last painful breaths of life.

I thought this was a very good episode once it really got moving. And Angela Bassett was really good plus I like Emily Rose so it's cool she's an
intern.
Next week, break out the tissues. Abby's last ep. (not a spoiler, it was in the previews) |

This tactic is pretty fucking stupid when you have been pimping out the fact that Angela Bassett is going to be on the show for a month. |

I quit watching the show right before Luca left and there seemed to be an influx of characters I couldn't get into. But hey, it's the last season, I
figured I'd watch. So what do they do? Kill off Pratt first damn thing and now Abby's leaving. And what the hell happened to Ray?

And what the hell happened to Ray?Ray got drunk and walked in front of a bus or something... and lost his legs. his mama came and collected him and took him to his home state to recuperate. I've heard rumors that he'll be back for an appearance this season, with prosthetics. |

Great episode, with a few groaners. Angela B. is fierce, with of course the tender back story (I assume she lost her husband and kid in the tsunami?). The
three interns were annoying -- I laughed a lot at naming the one Daria, who she was clearly a parody of. Again, of course, the ER is the center of a bio
attack, and everyone gets over it like someone spilled coffee in the break room. Fun, but glad it's on its way out.

I was not so excited by Angela B. Her first scene was just awful but then it got a bit more tolerable. Things are always a little awkward with a new actor on
set. They all seemed to be trying too hard around her. Plus the writers always seem to introduce new characters the same way - making them raging
bitches/assholes and then tempering their characters later.
I liked the Daria thing too - I caught that. I actually liked all the interns, I hope they keep them around rather than just making them a one episode deal. I'm also liking Neelah's storyline this season. Honestly, they could drag this show out for years if they wanted to. |

I thought it was a solid episode and I am EXTREMELY intrigued about Angela B's backstory. It was reported & posted here that Dr. Greene's return this season will be in a flashback involving Angela B and that they knew each other or met or something. Throw in the scene where formerly-fat nurse asks A.B. where she has seen her before and A.B. plays dumb "This is my first day, I don't think we've ever met before." Nurse "I never forget a face." Then add to that the shell-shocked look A.B. gave to the gurney as the trauma patient was being transferred from the gurney to the table in one of the trauma rooms . . . . hmm. So, did she used to work in the E.R. ages ago either as an intern or resident (Pre-S1 & Carter coming in) and lose a patient in that trauma room? Did she come into the ER as a patient and get treated in that trauma room by Greene? Did she come in with a husband/boyfriend/family member who was treated and died in that trauma room? I'M HOOKED and anxious to find out the dealeo about the new chief. It's still so weird for me seeing Morris as a responsible, hard-working serious doc after all his earlier years as a total screw up and immature moron. Neela is my fave character left (and she has been a fave of mine since she started the show). I love how she has put off Anspaugh, Jr. I'm going to prepare for a tear-fest next week with Abby's final ep. I just want to know why so soon? Wish she was in until close to the end of the season/series. Also, it's great that Abby is getting her farewell epi next week, but what about LUKA????? Boy I am going to miss that big hunky Croatian. I agree with Sue that they could drag this show out for years. It's been a constant for so long and Thursday nights at 10 are never going to be the
same after this season. |

Abby leaves and this is on page 5? Where are the comments on tonight's episode?
I thought it was well done. I don't know that anything was plausible but this is ER. It was nice to see Luka and Joe and have them all drive off as a family (trailer in tow) without any sense of doom or drama. It was kind of a pathetic group waving goodbye to them and I kinda thought, oh shit - is this what we're left with? This is ER's cream of the crop? The show is doomed. Anyone else think the plans have been laid (snicker) for Neela and DeBenko? |

For a character who has been on the show 10 years, I felt a little let down by the way they handled her leaving.
Her and Luka sharing a kiss and then driving off was the only redeeming part for me. Bring back Ray please. |

I enjoy ER for the
characters/storylines and also for the realism it brings with it.
