If they're really going to kill off Dr. Romano, I hope they do it in a really shocking gory way....like they did when his arm was whacked off.
They should replay that clip over and over when ratings are lacking, it was more entertaining than half the stuff going on now! That was a great TV moment.

they get rid of the interesting characters and keep Abby
and Kovac. He's gorgeous, but his character is DULL. they need to stop having him brood and drink, and give him something interesting. Abby needs to die. She's hideous. Skwert78- I know who you are asking about, and can almost think of her name... Gloria Reuben is the actress. She went on the road singing backup with one of the Divas(can't remember who--aretha?) then I noticed she was on a new show last season that I never watched. I don't remember who posted this, but I agree: Quote: I used to love this show, now I wonder why I even bother to turn it on. If what someone posted is true, and they kill Dr Romano, it'll be a mistake. He's one of the few potentially interesting characters they have. He and the red headed women need more air time. We never see them anymore. (can't think of their names!!) |

Gloria Reuben only had one good storyline involving her friendship with that kid Scotty who had Cancer. I was moved when they played "Time of your lives" by Green Day at his funeral.
When she was gone, I did not miss her. |

the only character who is gone that I miss is Doug Ross.
I wish he was still on the show.

Gloria Ruben was a dancer for Tina Turner.
Yeah, that was a good episode. The background music was fab. I was kinda meh at the end of last season when they went there, but I loved this one. |

I'll say... executions, one after the other... rapes... hell, even a guy gets his head blown off in full exposure. The room full of dead bodies left a real bad taste in my mouth.

Yah, it was pretty brutal.
it reminded of the movie Tears of the Sun with Bruce Willis- alot of similarities. Mmmmm, maybe too many. |

OMG what a great episode!!!!!!!!!
If that episode doesn't get nominated for an EMMY nothing else deserves to, Wow!!!!!!! I am still shaking from that episode but of course the darn caffeine I had at work isn't helping much. Luka and Carter were great in this episode. |

Gloria played Jeannie Bulah? (sounds like Boo-lay). She was the most irritating person on the show! Bitching and moaning about being let go for having HIV when it was due to being low bitch on the totem pole and Weaver TRIED to figure out a way to keep her. I wouldn't have wanted to go back to work there after forcing the issue. They should've blown her up or something. Then she might've been one of my favorite characters.

This was grusome night for TV, especially if you watched CSI right before you changed the station to watch ER. The corpse in the bathtub was probably the worst they have shown on the show. The bath water was especially nasty.
Then I watch ER and it is the atrocities of war in the Congo. It was hard to watch Carter looking thru piles of bodies looking for Kovac. It was a real up and down episode watching the parallel stories. I hope ER can keep up the pace. |

This episode was maddening and heartbreaking. When the rebel leader came casually out the tent doing up his pants after raping the mother of the sick child, I just felt sick and so angry. The rapes, murders and sheer senselessness of the wanton destruction were made all the more horrific by the completely callous disregard for one's fellow man.
A powerful, gripping, and disturbing episode and one of the best they've done. ITA |

WTF was Noah Wylie doing last night? He might as well have been humming "I'm a male model, you know what I mean". Just a series of catalog model poses as he tried to look "tropical cool".

Yes, this episode was good...of course now that they're back at the hospital and out of the Congo it will suck again.
They should bring in the woman doctor who was hooking up with Kovac in the Congo and helping Carter find him. Jillian was her name I think. Please please please don't let Abby and Luca hook up again. Previews- Abby gets a dear John letter from Carter breaking up with her! How riveting!
