It's okay. It will probably get a huge audience thanks in part to ANTM, but ultimately people will tune out though becasue it isn't exactly
groundbreaking.

I'm curious to see how this one does in the ratings. The CW has high hopes for this show, which is why they've been promoting it non-stop.

I've watched 23 minutes of it. The acting is very wooden. I am bored out of my mind. I wish I taped Kid Nation so I could re-watch it.

I reeeally want to like this so I can watch it right after ANTM, but this show just has too many plot lines going at once, especially for a first episode and
its not even exciting. YAWN.
I may keep it on in the background next week, but unless it gets my attention, that will be it. |

This show is pretty bad.
I'm not really watching it (it's just on), but it seems like an odd mix of Veronica Mars and The O.C. |

damn high school dramas hooking me in! i thought some of the acting was pretty lame, loved hearing Kristen Bell's voice. The critics were raving about this
show, I would have expected a little more though. I have never watched the OC but it seems pretty much the same right? Like all new shows I will watch at least
2 more episodes to see if I really like it....but I don't think so.

them.

Only 3.5 million viewers for the premiere last night. Considering all of the promotion the CW did for this show over the summer, that's a massive
disappointment.

I guess it's okay. I can't really decide though until after I've seen a few episodes of it. I don't like judging shows based on one episode
alone - unless they are REALLY terrible, and GG wasn't REALLY terrible. I have to see other episodes to see if it gets worse or better. But so far, for me
the show is just okay for the soapy teen drama genre.

I actually liked it. I think the show has potential. The one thing I hated though were the parents. In the books Rufus is this hippie writer guy and has no
interaction with Serena's mom and I wished they would've kept it that way. I don't give a shit about the parents, keep that story line out. I love
Leighton Meester as Blair, that was a good call, but Blake Lively as Serena isn't working for me right now. The clothes are pretty awesome too, I love that
gold dress Serena wore on her date with Dan. I'll keep watching it.

I liked the show too. It had a lot of drama, and I liked Kristen Bell's voice overs, it added a little sassyness to the show. I hope that word-of-mouth
makes the number of viewers pick up because it is the perfect guilty pleasure. I will definitely be watching again next week.

Fuck this show. 3.5 million BARELY justifies getting rid of VM.

Considering it got more promotion than any other CW show, a cushy timeslot, and not much competition, it's a huge letdown for the network.
Still, they've invested too much in the show to give up on it so soon. It will have the entire season at least to find an audience. |

I've spent almost two hours trying to get through this thing.
As much as I hope Boyfriend A rescues Chick C from Evil Bastard D's evil clutches, this is nothing more than random idiocy played out by actors and actresses in their mid-20's rather than actual teenagers. Note to The CW: when the mommies are MILF's and your leading teen is a faded but still lovely woman of twenty-seven, drink a bottle of gin and call Kristen Bell. |
