This year's season finale was weak. It felt more like a wrap it up series finale than an actual season finale. I was bored the entire hour even with next
season's plot nuggets sprinkled in throughout. And how did Nate become the only one of the crew to attend the best school? Georgina and Blair as
roommates will be funny. But I just don't understand why Blair just wouldn't get her own apartment. She's certainly rich enough. And the NYU
dorms sucks ass. NYU doesn't actually have a real campus; it's not like Columbia. I also want to know where Vanessa is planning on going next year.

Why would the writers of this show only have the main characters in high school for 2 seasons? They should have stretched that shit out like Saved by the Bell
and 90210 did. Shows go way downhill after graduation, college shows usually suck; see Felicity.

This is a TV show, quit tryin to make sense out of shit.Blair having a roommate at NYU goes against her very character. There's is no way that she wouldn't get her own apartment. I'd buy the roommate thing at Yale, but NYU? |

In the book Vanessa went to Constance and lived with her older sister. Obviously she doesn't go to Constance, but since they've never mentioned her
homelife situation (as far as I can remember), I wonder if she lives with her sister. She really doesn't seem to have a job or go to school, but remember
she took the SATs? Or was that Nate? Okay I went back and read a recap. Apparently Vanessa doesn't have college plans because she wants to be a filmmaker.
Um...because no colleges (especially not NYU!) have film programs? Yeah...
Am I the only one who thinks Nate and Vanessa make a horrible couple? Though, frankly, I don't like Vanessa with anyone. I really have always thought Nate and Serena would go well together and obviously they have some history, but they never seem to bring them together as a couple. How will the Georgina thing work with Michelle being cast in a new show? (At least that show looks like it will run midseason so that may give her some time to shoot Gossip Girl). I LOVE Georgina as a character so I'm glad she'll be more central to the plot (if the finale makes me believe this). Frankly, I wish Chuck had told Blair he loved her first this time. But I'm really glad they finally got together. As much as it sometimes kills the tension when the couple finally gets together, I was getting really tired of their games. Mostly though it's because we've had very little Blair/Chuck interaction in the 2nd half of the season, which is why I prefer the first half of this season. |

I thought they said Vanessa got a scholarship to NYU ages ago. That's why it was so funny/predictable when Blair got into NYU. You know Serena is either
never going to be at school, drop out of school, or transfer to NYU/Columbia.
If they put Blair and Georgina together, they will make up a lame excuse for it like Blair's mom wanting to teach her responsibility or something. |

It has plenty of dorms NOW, but it still has no real traditional campus. It's campus is spread all over the Village. It doesn't not have a policy that all freshman are required to live on campus their first year. I'm sure they'll come up with some bullshit reason for Blair choosing/being forced into dorm life. It'll be as lame as the season finale that was seriously underwhelming. I really wish that the Vanessa/Chuck thing actually went somewhere. I think they had some real chemistry. Chuck/Blair pairing really only works when they're apart. |

Neither of them know they're half-brothers. It would be awesome if -- like in the books -- Dan comes out of the closet and does so with his own brother
without knowing. That's the kind of crazy shit this show needs. Screw all this 'who will be high school queen' crap.

I really don't see how they're going to keep Little J at all relevant if she [and Eric] is still at Constance while the rest are in college. Also, do
we know where Chuck is going to school? Or even IF he is going to school?

I think it would have been more realistic to send them all to Columbia as opposed to NYU but whatever. |
