I thought this might be a thread about the new ABC show 'The One'. I don't like AI, but this has to be the most blantant ripoff of another show ever. 'The One' should only last one season or less if there was any justice in the world.

I can't believe how many of these I actually watched, LOL. My guiltiest pleasure had to be Superstar USA. It was a spoof on reality shows except the contestants didn't know it.
I think Brat Camp only ran one season. Joe Schmo technically had 2 seasons but hardly anyone saw it and it's no longer on. |

Joe Schmo's both seasons were probably some of the best and most hilarious reality show seasons I watched.

I saw an episode of the SI show posted above..........eh, too much like Top Model for my tastes......
Loved Joe Schmo.......particularly the first season with all of it's reality spoofs (Rudy, Alicia, etc.....)........wished the second season would've been popular because they could have done this concept endlessly. Falcon twist, indeed. ;) I still love Amish In The City........fantastic docu-sort of series on UPN or WB where Amish kids move to LA and hang out with local folk their age, eventually deciding whether or not they will move away from Amish country. No Boundaries was pretty underrated. Beautiful scenery and a game that rewards merit over lying and deceit. Oh, and who could forget Andy Dick in The Assistant? The writing wasn't amazing, but Dick gave it that extra comedic push, and he managed to make the game legit at the same time by eliminating the people that fucked up the most. |

Showbiz moms & dads (unless you count the showdog moms and dads as the second season). They so need to do another one with more over the top parents, or at least do a where are they now show! I miss me some Shane

Roseanne had a reality show that followed the making of her new talk/cooking show.
Both shows were cancelled after a few episodes, but I don't remember which one went first. |
